Malini Venkatram, M.D.
Dr Venkatram really listens. Unlike most dr that just ignores your statement of what’s happening, she really listens and digs deep to the root of what’s causing the problems. I’d recommend her for anyone battling autoimmune disorders, RA issues as well.

Dr Venkatram is more thorough through telemedicine than past docs that were in person.

I like Dr. V. very much and have shared her information with my primary care provider. The only negative, is the 3 hour drive to see her. Please try to establish a rheumatology hub near Alpena.

You have no worries qith this dr or her staff they will take care of you just as they do their own family

The doctor is not interested in discussing rheumatoid arthritis or my health. She was so dismissive of any questions I tried to ask in my 6-minute visit after over half an hour of them being late. This is a lifelong condition I should have a doctor who is interested in communicating with me about the condition.

My first time seeing her as a new patient. I was completely satisfied with her care and the way she listened to my concerns. Very thorough in my present and past health concerns.

Only use telemedicine.seems to do good with only using telemedicine, but wish she would have in person visits

I absolutely did not like that I had to see her on a video. I wouldn't recommend her just for that even though she's a nice lady

Highly recommend. Video visits are thorough. Camera is used to actually see areas of issues and to watch me preform different tasks just as if I was in the office. The office staff are extremely helpful and kind.

Fought gout for 18+ years seen several Dr's n nobody got me a solution for pain relief n was always treated as gout. 1 visit with this Dr and she knew right away it was psoriatic arthritis put me on meds to treat and I haven't felt this good in years without being able to jump right up in mornings and go compared to years of days that I couldn't even walk. Also Krissy the nurse in the office is great always very knowledgeable and helpful with questions

I was unsure about video visits in the beginning but it's really not much different then if standing in the same room. The staff at this office is SO nice and thorough as well.

If hard of hearing the video was fine audio was hard to understand. Ask nurse to sit in on appointment to tell me what the doctor said. Could I improve sound for patients with hearing problems.

She is not like anyone I have ever met in the doctor world. Dr Venkatram actually listens, very attentive and knowledgeable. She will address the concerns head one and will work hard figuring out what the problem is and how to help. I highly recommend her to help with RA and lupus issues.

100%best dr to ever have. She listen and so does her nurses. I would however suggest if you don’t hear back after 2 days when you call to call back leave a message. Something sometimes does not get through to her. Otherwise I love her and the team.

The most caring supportive person I’ve ever met. The doctor is very compassionate and cares about the quality of life of a person and their care!! I’m not afraid of asking questions and speaking to this doctor and nurse Krisssy like I’ve been with other doctors!!! She was very thorough and cared about me!!!!

How WONDERFUL they all are there. The receptionist was wonderful, Kristi the nurse was caring and answered questions, and explained as we went along. Doc was the BEST ever finally someone who listen to how I've been feeling for the last year, and when I heard I'm going to treat you, I was speechless and started crying!! I'd recommend this office to EVERYONE.
