We waited 6 months for our appointment, wish we would have been aware that medical records were needed from prior Dr. Bring your own history medical records, if outside of My Michigan. He seemed to be annoyed by my wife’s presence…I have been seeking solutions for the pain my body is suffering for many years, have always been told it’s in the rheumatoid, inflammatory family now maybe not..Dr has prescribed something that will maybe help with my pain..being hopeful

Dr Diola is very thorough. He is very knowledgeable and a good listener. I would certainly recommend him to family and friends. Although as a new patient, I waited for 6 months for an appointment.

I’ve had to try other rheumatologists when Dr Diola was at the VA and my experience was …difficult. When Dr D came back to his practice I was thrilled. He really is the best around here. And his staff- they are super! Michelle is my guardian Angel, I’m convinced! She is super caring and dedicated to her job and patients!. I never met a person in a dr’s office like her!

This was the first appointment after number of years, but the actually talk to me for a period of time and actually seem to hear me he recommended I get back into university of Michigan rheumatology department. I really felt like he recognized me as a human this time.

When I sat down with Dr. Diola, he made me feel comfortable, safe, and heard. He went through all of my medical history with me and decided to start from the begining going forward so we don't miss anything. I really can't wait to see what the future holds for my health and wellness.
