What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
It was my first time seeing Dr English and I was there for a nervewracking appointment on my baby’s head growth. He helped calm me down and was so kind and helpful and patient. He Listened to my concerns with medication I was taking and made changes for me. I was very pleased with him

Dr. English went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and to meet my unique goals for my health. He took ample time to understand me and where I was coming from.

Dr. English is a great provider. I would prefer to see him every time with visits to this office if able.

Dr Mark English is one of the best health care provider’s I’ve had in Michigan. Dr English is observant, knowledgeable and empathetic. He is a real asset to UMH and to my life.

Mark English thoroughly explains things and is not in a rush to just get through the appointment. Makes sure all questions have been answered.

Dr English is the best. He is a caring Dr and explains everything. He's very knowledgeable. I'm so glad he's my Gynecologist.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
This was my very first appointment with Dr.Engish. I was very nervous as I had been with my previous OB for years, and I have a lot of issues with my reproductive health. Dr. English was very kind. He put me at ease right away. He took his time going through my history and explained some things I had not previously known. I am extremely comfortable and confident putting myself in his care.

Dr. English listens and shows compassion. He explains every thing very thoroughly and in a way you can understand.

Dr. Mark English is my preferred provider at this office. He is very compassionate and thorough in his practice. I appreciate his therapeutic communication and his ability to listen to his patient.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. English was very kind hearted and sympathetic when we lost our pregnancy. The triage nurse was the absolute worst nurse I’ve ever had to deal with in such a hard situation to begin with. If it wasn’t for the rest of the wonderful staff and excellent care Dr. English showed us, her horrible phone skills would’ve had me searching for a new clinic.

Dr English is fantastic. I appreciate that he truly cares for his patients and takes his time. I never feel rushed when he I see him. He is one of the kindest, thoughtful, compassionate doctors. He also is excellent at explaining things to his patients

Really appreciated the Dr. English called himself with the biopsy results and next steps.

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
This is the second time I’ve seen Dr. English and both times he was very thorough with the appointment and the explanation. This was my second growth ultrasound. At my first one, they measured, said she was big, and that was about it. At this visit, Dr. English pulled up the report and walked me through what each number and acronym meant. He walked me through what the next couple of weeks of pregnancy may look like, some precautions to take, and some possible risk factors that may come with having a bigger baby. I left feeling very well taken care of and knowledgeable about the upcoming labor and delivery.

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
Dr. English was fantastic. Historically, I haven't had the best luck with gynecologist, so I was anxious about this appt. Dr. English immediately put me at ease and explained everything very succinctly and clearly. I finally feel like I'm in very capable hands.

He's very caring. I'm so happy he's my Gynecologist. He's very nice and extremely knowledgeable. I have a disease I've had for at least 8yrs. He knows all about and explain it and talked to me about it. Dr English is a very good Dr and I'm lucky he's my doctor.

Nothing, Dr English is a very good Dr.

Everyone was pleasant and respectful. This appointment is somewhat difficult for me but everyone makes it as easy as possible, very thoughtful.

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
All the nurses listened well, and always did great in what they do. Dr. English has always listened to any concerns or questions I may have. Everyone in the office is helpful, and truly cares about their patients health. Couldn't ask for a better doctor office, and will always recommend to everyone looking for an OBGYN

Honestly nothing, it was a great experience overall.

We are not long-standing patients with his office. We were assigned to him through the hospital when we came in and experienced a stillbirth. The situation was horrific and traumatizing, but Dr. English and the whole staff could not have treated us better. We were shown respect and concern and treated with the lost divinity the situation could possibly allow.

I personally feel everything about this office js very transactional. You say something and it's always countered with what they want. Not actually hearing what I want as a person. This office makes me feel extremely anxious every time I have to come. I'm still a person and I can also make decisions for myself and everything is very pushed on you.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Well the office person on the phone doesn't let you speak vs just cuts you off. I will say when I scheduled my Apts the ladies were nice. But again listening to my concerns and hearing what I want vs " no were doing this" . I'm allowed to say no! And I should not be hounded like a child because of it.

I feel like the staff was amazing in making me feel comfortable, especially since I have high anxiety in doctor offices. Everyone was great, especially Dr English himself!

I'm honestly not sure, I think everyone was awesome.

Nothing every person who I have came in contact with in his facility are very nice and like the Dr are very attentive.

The way he cared about my problem and is working to resolve my issue. Hopefully he can fix my problem so I can so I can some kind of normalcy to return to me.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
I believe Dr. English. Is going to do everything possible to correct this issue. I think Dr. and staff have my best interest in mind. Thank you

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
Dr. English is kind and considerate with his patients. While handling exams, he is aware of the patient. He keeps them informed and is always making sure during the exam that they are as comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend Dr. English to anyone I know.

Truly nothing because everything was handled professionally.

The thoughtfulness caring of this office is remarkable. They were very tentative and respectful. I will recommend this office and already have.

I felt that he was very understanding and knowledgeable. I’ve never had a male OB before and was nervous but he has great bedside manner and knows what he is doing.

He was very respectful to my upsetting situation. At age 82 I was not prepared for the situation and especially to know it will always be a problem for me to live with.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
I was uncomfortable and wish there was a better solution. There really isn't other choices since I don't want surgery.

He was great about easing my fears and took the time to go through everything with me. He made sure all my questions were answered. The staff was very friendly and my follow up care with scheduled and all taken care of for me.

I really appreciated his willingness to listen to my concerns and to chat through my birth plan with me. He also made recommendations and answered my questions, which was great. The visit went very well. I had the opportunity to express my goals with my health care and he supported those goals and offered suggestions for improvement. It seems like some health care providers are quick to provide pushback, and that wasn’t the case at all here. The nurse I saw during this visit was excellent as well.

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
The entire visit. Dr. English and his nurse were the most compassionate OBGYN team that I have ever met. They not only listened to what I was saying but ensured that I was heard and my experience was valid. I cannot thank even both enough for restoring my faith and hope in my seemingly complicated health journey.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Absolutely nothing!
