Dr. Danso, is very thorough in his explanation of the care that is being offered and how it is beneficial to your overall health. Very professional, understanding of the stress your diagnosis puts you under. Very caring, and I would recommend him anyone that has a diagnosis such as mine. He is an excellent doctor and my Michigan health should be honored to have him on their staff.

Dr Danso was so calm and reassuring about the process. He answered all our questions in a manner that we could easily understand. I feel very confident with the upcoming treatment.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Danso is the very best in his card for his patients. Unfortunately, MyMichigan has switched to outsourcing their reading of testing to out of area resources which is slowing down patient care for Dr. Danso and his staff. Also, Dr. Danso needs additional physicians as his work load has increased and a stress on him as he continues to desire the best care possible for his patients. As for me, if he leaves MyMichigan, I will seek care for my cancer elsewhere.

I tell people that my hematologist is an excellent doctor who seems to care and knows what he is talking about (unfortunately, not all doctors do). He's respectful and is always trying to find the best solutions to help with my healthcare. He's a great doctor

I would say the Clare office staff was phenomenal. The Midland phone staff, not so much. They were terrible at returning phone calls and emails. They were waiting for a referral and never checked their spam, as I had asked them to many times. I finally had a friend, who worked in the laboratory (I had emailed her the referral with no problem), walk it over.
