My first contact with Dr. Akkad was a virtual visit regarding my cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy. He was very informative and clear when answering my questions. Before talking to Dr. Akkad, I also talked to his office staff to request an appointment time. His staff was caring and very helpful in setting up appointments. I feel comfortable and look forward to being treated by Dr. Akkad and his staff.

The staff are excellent and friendly but Dr. Akkud is always in a big hurry and only gives you about 5 minutes of his time. He doesn't take time to explain the results of the test that he has ordered. I have requested to see Sarah, his assistant, for my next visit because she takes the time to explain things to me in a language I can understand.

The medical assistant was rude and made rude comments. The Dr did not review my chart before I came in, I was trying to transfer from a different doctor and he had me come in to pretty much tell me that he can only help me with 1/2 of my follow ups and I would still need to see the other Dr. instead of just telling me that before I came in.

Sarah always knows what is going on with my health. I had an office appointment and roads were bad so i called to cancel and reschedule and instead we did one on face time which was really nice. we covered any questions I had and I really appreciated being able to do it this way.

I feel very well-cared-for from the doctor and his staff. It’s rare that I don’t feel like I’m getting very personal care. Also, Stacy is amazing, the front office staff are amazing, the nurses in the infusion center are amazing. I completely recommend this office.
