At my first (in-person) visit with Dr. Palla, he was very informative and friendly. However, upon seeing the social worker, I was informed that he was only in person every other week. (I did not appreciate not knowing that information up front.). Nonetheless, we decided to stay with Dr. Palla based on that first in-person visit. I have only had 4 appointments with Dr. Palla and unfortunately, only 2 of them have been in person. The other two have been virtual. As his patient, that is not what we agreed to or what I was told in the beginning. Since then, I heard that he might be leaving MyMichigan. Upon asking his office, the office staff confirmed that he would be leaving in September. I’m not happy with the level of communication about Dr. Palla’s in office presence. For these reasons, I would be hesitant to recommend Dr. Palla or MyMichigan oncology to family and friends.

Dr. Palla is an outstanding professional. I am pleased to have had the opportunity to be his patient and to get to know him personally. I have the deepest respect and admiration of his abilities and consider myself blessed. I'm sad he is leaving Midland but I am confident in the referral he has given of the doctor who will be taking over my care. He speaks highly of her and I trust his opinion.

Dr Palla, Katie, and all the staff at the oncology office have done an incredible job with me. The treatment I received for my cancer could not have been better. They have got my cancer in remission. I am very grateful this team has taken care of my needs.

That Amruth Palla takes the time to listen and adJUST THE PLN IF He needs to. In video visits he asks questions and listens to what questions we may have. A very polite, knowledgeable Doctor.

Dr. Palla is so knowledgeable. He is kind, caring and compassionate. He truly listens to the needs and concerns of each of his patients. Recently he contacted me via telephone and left a message as I was not able to get to my phone when he called) to provide instructions on how to take my new medications that he prescribed for my treatment plan. He also arranged for a pharmacist to provide me with an education session, in-person, to explain how I will take my medications.

Dr Palla is a very good doctor and ver thorough. He makes sure everything is looked into and all tests needed are done.

I feel I was lucky to get him as my oncologist because the oncologist I had before him was not addressing the issues I was having with my RX. Dr. Palla changed my med as soon as I told him how the Anastrozole was affecting me, and told me, if necessary there was another we could try. I surely appreciated all the care I received from him. Not only is he a good doctor, he’s a good human.

I'm confident that he understands my condition and disease process. I've been seeing him for over a year and he has never examined me at an appointment, which I think is strange. How is he charging for the visit without an exam? Also, the history and physical in my chart are pasted from my previous provider, whom I left for what i thought was inadequate care. I would prefer that Dr Palla dictate his own report from review of my history and his own findings/exam. The H&P is in the first person as if it's him, but it's not. That bothers me!

While the doctor might be very knowledgeable, his mannerisms leaves a lot to be desired. He would come into the room for my visit he would be out within 1 to 2 minutes. I would record the appointments so my wife could hear them, that is why I know how long they lasted. Needless to say I wasn’t impressed. Here I am fighting for my life literally getting 2 minutes of the doctor's time. However the staff is amazing, I was just not the impressed with the provider.
