Took 6 weeks to get a script for new Accu-Chek monitor. Poor med Teck support! Lack of communication with doctor!

Dr Virgin has always responded to my needs as they come up. She takes the time to really explain what she needs for me to do to follow her carefully thought out instructions. We discuss my care together and arrive at a decision that we both think will work the best for me. I enjoy my visits with her.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I only had 1 visit. When I got there she asked why I was there. I told her I received a message from her nurse saying that the doctor wants to see me and in fact when I met her for my appointment she said no I didn’t request that. As far as now you’re stable. I had to change my schedule for this non needed appointment. Also while in my appointment there was someone in the next room. I could hear their whole conversation as if the were in my room sitting next to me.

The only problem I ever have is getting through to a person in Dr. Virgin’s office on the telephone. The only thing I ever reach is voicemail.

She is easy to talk to. Explains how my meds work or if I can no longer use a specific medication. Down to earth and never acts like I’m a bother. I Really Hope we don’t loose her here in the U.P.

Kelli is very helpful. She told me about things I did not even know. If anyone ever has questions, she is the best person to ask. Jacie, a worker was also very helpful and nice. I recommend Kelli full heartedly.

I find no difference in the care I receive whether Dr Virgen is in the office or we do the Tele prompting. I’m understanding the portal and she is responding to my messages when I request information.

I wished I had had her sooner. I almost died with another nurse practitioner then I was sent to Kelly. I was never below a nine A1c in this last time I went. I was at 6.6. I love her to death. She is so good. My husband also is with her and he went to his cardiologist at University of Michigan This past week and the cardiologist told him he wished he had changed doctors sooner. His blood results were great thank you Dr. Virgin you’re the best.
