I would recommend this provider. He was very caring and helpful with the care of my ears. Hopefully we will have a plan of action at my next visit so I can hear out of both ears.

It took a long period of time to schedule surgery. Dr was very good but video apt not as good as face to face. However I understand difficulty in getting good surgeons to SSM

I like everyone at Dr Turfes office, nurses to receptionist to the Doc himself! He’s a great guy/Doctor & I always leave his office feeling relieved!

Dr. Turfe is a very excellent physician and a wonderful listener. He had tests lined up upon my arrival and was aware of my medical situations. He explained everything very well and asked pertinent questions. He gave clear answers to MY questions . He left no doubt in my mind that he is a very thorough, caring doctor.

Dr. Turfe is one of the best ENTs in the area. He doesn’t sugar coat things and he explains things in a way that’s easy to understand. He is personable and thorough.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
That it takes a long time to get an appointment and the doctor is almost never in the office. I called the doctor to ask a question about my appointment and I didn't receive a return phone call for eight hours. When I was in the office for my appointment I saw people on their phones and talking about weekend plans and not calling patient back.

Dr. was kind and listened to my complaints and addressed each one individually. He called after my scan to give me the results and assure me he could follow up when or if it was needed.

Dr. Turfe is an excellent ENT. He's helped me more than any other ENT I've seen in the [age] years of my life. He listens, is concerned about what is going on with me and provides treatment options. I highly recommend him.

Excellent doctor! He knew in minutes what was wrong with my ear. I’ve been dealing with this problem for years and nobody could give me an answer. He did it in minutes. Very thorough and helpful

Excellent, friendly service. We finally received an answer to the health issue and a treatment plan. I would highly recommend making an appointment to see the doctor as in [location] it takes over 1 year to get an appointment with an ear,nose and throat specialist. Well worth the trip to get much needed answers.

I’m not sure. I was referred by my primary doctor and I felt as if my referral was a waste of Dr Turfe’s time. I was also offered a referral to Petoskey and now feel I should have taken that instead. I felt very dismissed.
