After 4 years of having trouble with my ears, and 2 other ENT, Dr. Cox listened to me and took me seriously when I was talking to him about the trouble I have been having. I felt like he cared. I felt as if he truly wanted to figure out what was going on. I felt like he was reasonably trying to find solutions to the problem I have been having.

I would say that we had to wait a long time to get an appointment for a new patient and then had to wait a long time for a surgery date and we expressed concern over prolonged issues that were causing reoccurring illnesses and that we didn’t want to sustain the antibiotic for that long until a surgery could be performed. So the long wait was frustrating…however, we liked Dr Cox and his team very much. The surgery went smoothly and was much needed. The pre and post surgical team and Dr were amazing. The hospital staff went out of their way to help and made him happy. Everyone was great!!! I would highly recommend, just advise about the wait time to get an appointment. Perhaps that’s the reason I guess.

My only disappointing thing was when I never got to talk to a supervisor whi h had nothing to do with Dr Cox. Great visit otherwise.

My daughter had a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. Dr, Cox was very reassuring, personable, and thorough in his explanations of the procedure and recovery. He talked to my daughter in a way that was appropriate for a [AGE] year old and made her feel very comfortable. The procedure was quick (15-20 minutes) and her recovery went well following his instructions. I would recommend Dr. Cox to anyone whose child needs an ENT.

From the moment we started to Check in for our appointments the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Every staff person we interacted with was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Dr Cox was also very friendly and explained things in a way we could understand. Very pleasant experience for us.

Dr. Cox was the first doctor who listened to and validated the concerns I had about my son. He was kind, patient, and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. He asked several times if I had any questions about the upcoming procedure, and spoke to my son with kindness and respect. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for an ENT.

I am Deaf The audiologist wasn't very approachable. When i tried to inform him that I am uncomfortable with audio testing it wasn't reciprocated. Being Deaf I struggle with phantom noise in the booth and it isnt a pleasing expirence for someone who done this throughout my life. I felt like it was ment to get done and over with. I was surprised considering I already had an audiology chart sent over. While i understand they wanted to check my hearing after removing the wax. Some of the equipment feels outdated. Dr Cox was very approachable and receptive. He went out of his way to make sure i was able to read his lips and that I could understand him. When the question of Cochlear implants was ment he was very respectful of my refusal due to cultural and uncomfortableness. The nurse didn't know that I am Deaf and called for me without looking at me so i could see their lips. When she discovered I was Deaf she was more aware of communication.

I am fortunate to be with Dr. Cox! He prepares well for my visits and thoroughly listens to me, remembering well what I’ve related to him. He is honest, considerate and comforting in that he puts me at ease and admits when he is puzzled. Dr. Cox is knowledgeable and has provided care that continues to help me. The office staff and he work well together and even my phone-in questions are answered quickly.
