I was impressed that Dr.Garces was prepared with my case and all of the procedures that were done previously by other providers and other hospitals. I was referred to him because I need breast surgery and there isn't a breast surgeon in my area. The Dr was respectful, knowledgeable, and caring. It was very apparent he was looking at my situation and making the best decision for me. I felt very comfortable talking to him and I believe I made the right choice for him to perform the surgery..

Dr.Garces is AMAZING! He sits down and talks to you like a human being not just a patient. He always explains things so you can understand. He takes time with you to answer any questions you have. He's compassionate and respects his patients decisions. I think being a doctor in his field has to be tough. Woman come in scared and nervous. The way he talks to you makes you feel safe. I've gotten to the point that I look forward to my appointments with him. I feel extremely lucky to have him as my doctor and that he has kept me in his high risk clinic until I'm ready for my mastectomy.

Very knowledgeable Took time to listen to all the questions I had and gave explanations Covered all the bases on my upcoming procedure and gave a time line for recovery and also explained what to take for pain Overall I’m very impressed with his patient demeanor

Dr. Garces is fantastic! If I arrived to the office early for an appointment, the staff always called me in early. Dr. Garces was very tentative and honest in all of my appointments. He explained everything very well and allowed me to participate in the final decision, regarding my care. I would recommend Dr. Garces to anyone looking for a breast specialist physician.

Dr. Garces talks to you and not at you. He listens to your concerns and then he discusses your options with you. He respects the choices you are able to make. He will tell you after all this is the USA. He always makes sure you don't have any questions before he ends your visit. You can tell he really cares about his patients mental and physical well being before and after surgery/ treatment. If you have breast cancer he would be the best choice . I'm speaking from experience.

Amy, the nurse coordinator, works incredibly hard to begin the process and is always available to assist outside of the surgery end of things (ie, scheduling chemo when no one returns your calls, assisting with other questions/referrals regarding cancer treatment).
