I find that her listening skills are beyond excellent. She really make sure to understand what you’re trying to say and takes the time with you. It’s very few doctors that you find that you really think that they care about you.

My experience with doctor Mendes has been incredibly uplifting, empowering, fundamentally life-changing and positive beyond all my expectations. I have no complaints and no notes. Please stay out of the way and let these people do what they're doing. They are the cream of the crop, the best of the best top notch. Stellar. From the moment you walk into the office in the big smiles and greetings of warm salutations.... from my experience I can say everyone always receives this without fail. From the front desk initial encounter one will experience the exact same treatment as you leave. There's no stone unturned with the customer service at its penultimate heights.

This was my first visit with Gisel. I was impressed by her knowledge and understanding and compassion. I left her office feeling hopeful about my situation. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing counseling.

I only have positive things to say about the office staff and everyone in the building that oversees my care. They are attentive and even pre-empted an insurance coverage concern I had to ensure I could see Dr. M-C. While I don't know the staff member's name whom left me a message to make sure I could go, every person there makes my day and is kind in many ways when I visit. Doctor Mendez-Cordero is one of the best mental health professionals I have had in all my years of care. She has been the most sensitive, culturally- competen and aware of how my identity informs my care. Being under her care has been a model therapy experience for me that I will continue to hold as the standard I expect to receive going forward. Few therapists have been as prepared and sympathetic to how socio-cultural aspects of my mental health. I cannot emphasize the passion and wealth of experience she brings. I always recommend Dr. M-C. She should train regional therapists in socio-cultural competencies!

Every time I am there I find the office to be extremely helpful. The nurses are helpful. Front desk is very helpful as well. I appreciate that.

Dr. Mendez is an excellent psychologists she takes her time explaining and examining her patients, she also makes you feel comfortable and not embarrassed emotionally. She also takes your viewpoints and opinions into consideration when it comes to solutions for your mental health. I've already recommended her to a few close individuals in my life because I feel she really cares about her patients. I highly recommend Dr.Mendez, as I've had a wonderful experience during my visit.
