I am now 74 years old which brings a lot of experience with physicians. I can honestly say Dr. Klippenstein is the best doctor I have ever had. He has an outstanding fund of knowledge covering a very wide range of areas. He thinks clearly, ordering appropriate tests when indicated, then discussing pros/cons of treatment options and including his patients in decisions. He welcomes discussion, asks all the important questions, does thorough exams and has a compassionate approach. Add a great personality and a sense of humor. He is Wonderful. My husband and I feel fortunate indeed to have such excellent primary care. We hope Renown understands what an asset they have with Dr. K!

Dr. Klippenstein was really attentive at listening to my heart issue concerns and recommending a diagnostic evaluation. I was able to easily schedule my echocardiogram and Zio study on MyChart. He was pleasant and covered all the bases and I was very satisfied with the visit.

Re: the question about discussing medications - I've been taking the same generic medications (statin) for years and really don't find a need to discuss options or costs - it cost's me $0. Unless the labs show the cholesterol is not controlled as expected.

From the moment you walk into the office for Dr. Klippenstein, the receptionist who greets you and checks you in is courteous and helpful, the nurses are always very helpful and Dr. Klippenstein spends as much time as needed with you, which is always so appreciated. I come in with a lot of questions and he always answers them thoroughly.
