Nurse practitioner Michele Martinez and nurse Lillian were great. listened to My history And reached out to my infectious disease doctor- Dr [last name] - To make sure that the upcoming prostate biopsy Would use the appropriate antibiotics as I have a history of drug resistant UTI's. Martinez explained the procedure, what I should expect, the risks involved and the expected recovery. She did it in an extremely professional manner, not sugar coating anything and was able to instill a confidence in me that I sincerely appreciate. I have had many interactions with MD Anderson over the last few years and this is just another example of their empathy and professionalism. I trust them completely and I'm so pleased I chose MD Anderson over Mayo for my cancer care. I have yet to meet a single person at MD Anderson or Baptist who does not exhibit this level of professionalism.
