Dr. P and I are developing a new patient/doctor relationship. We're having spirited discussions about my care. I appreciate that he cares about my kidneys enough to recommend a new course of treatment and explains why meds, etc may need to change. My communication style is up front and open and I'm glad his is too. I think we're going to be OK. Thanks

Vvery knowledgeable and approachable was the impression I got from my initial gout appointment. Rather than a set it and forget it mentality regarding allopurinol, he prescribed monitoring and periodic testing to ensure appropriate medication levels.

First appointment with Dr. Phillpotts. It was excellent. I was impressed by his manner, intelligence, and knowledge. I was originally worried after seeing my former Rheumatologist (since retired) for many decades, but I feel very secure in Dr. Phillpotts care.

Dr. Phillpotts understands that medicine should be a collaborative science. He treats patients with the respect they deserve, offering his expertise and guidance, but understanding that when there are decisions to be made - like which medication to use - it’s ultimately the patient’s choice. He is simultaneously professional, knowledgeable and HUMAN. He’s a pleasure to work with in managing my osteoporosis.

Dr. Phillpotts is on top of his game. He is quick but thorough and has his patient’s concerns at the forefront.
I really like Dr. Phillpotts. I had my other rheumatologist for over 20 years in another state, so I was really nervous about changing. I’m glad I did!
