I’ve told many people I know with epilepsy or who have been having seizures to look into getting a physician at Mid Health to try and get a new neurologist over there in Midland mainly cause I feel I’ve received more care and support and have been worked with

He is an excellent Dr. in his field, listened to all of my concerns, and seemed to be very knowledgeable withh all questions I had in asking him.

To make sure you right your questions or concerns before you visit Doctor. I have short term memory and had some concerns, I forgot to make note of it. So I feel I didn't get much accomplished.

I appreciated the doctor asking 'What questions do you have?' and after answering my question he asked 'What other questions do you have?' This helped me pause and really think so I could ask the questions I had.

I have been trying to get my doctor's office to understand the urgency I feel about getting my migraine medicine approved so I can experience relief from horrible pain. One visit with Dr MacFalda on Friday, and Monday I got a message from Nicole that she was working on approval from insurance. Shortly after that I received a phone call from her that it was approved! She worked through getting me the lowest possible copay and has even arranged auto-shipments for my medicine so I don't have to worry about running out. After multiple calls to "primary care" office, being put off, no returned calls, no approval and another trip to his office to beg for help and being firm that I wanted a referral to a Neuroligist office, it was a total breath of fresh air dealing with an office staffed with people who truly care about their patients and do an excellent job all around. I would definitely recommend this office to others!!!

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I have had bad experiences with local physician and staff in our very small town. I insisted on seeing a neurologist after dealing with severe migraines and getting no help from them in getting my migraine medication approved. Dr MacFalda and his staff got my medication within a few days of initial visit and I was treated with total care and concern during my visits and when speaking with everyone in his office. It was refreshing to be treated by someone who actually made me feel as though they cared. I would highly recommend this office to others.

This is a specialized field and this hospital only has a small number of these types of doctors. So having the doctor be 50 (fifty) minutes late to the scheduled appointment might happen sometimes (like this week).

in and out like McDonalds. the new assembly line medicine this country has morphed into is horrible. no seeking a cure or cause just throw a pill at it.

Brian macfalda and his staff are great at what they do,. They give excellent care. It's just hard getting ahold of so.eone when you call the office to set up appointments. So I usually have to do it by the portal

Everything was great except they did not upload the Clinical Notes of my visit to My Michigan Health portal. When I asked about it, I was told no one knew how to do it. For the sake of relatives with similar issues, it would be good to access that data.
