I'm fairly new as a patient and have yet to rate accurately, but so far I like how she and staff have treated me as a patient. I have scheduled another consultation appointment with Dr Chen so i'll be able to get to know more about her, but she made a good impression of the kind of Dr I can trust.

Dr. Lu CHEN is very personable she listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. It was a great visit my first time meeting her. I wish all my doctor visits at the VA were like this.

I really liked the Dr. but I had a previous Dr. that changed me to her, which I wasn’t happy to be traded to a different Dr. in the middle of treatments !

I was not impressed with Dr. Chen. She stated my Mother had a high risk of stroke, rattled off a bunch of statistics, then did not offer any intervention. I had to ask about use of blood thinners for atrial flutter and she did not offer any recommendations, only asked me what I wanted to do. Who is the doctor with the medical knowledge???? I would not want my Mother to see her again. Waste of time.

This was a first time visit. [Removed portion of comment about another provider/facility] When I met Dr Lu Chen she knew everything about my heart issues. She had fully reviewed my records. She wasn’t hurried and took time for questions. She heard us and answered our questions and concerns. Both of my daughters who are nurses and myself felt completely comfortable and I felt safe with Dr. Chen taking over my care. So thankful!
