It was my first visit as a new patient, but I found the staff to be outstanding, and the facility clean and organized. The information provided also very clear and easy to understand.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lisa Harrington for 20+ years. I drive 2 hours to see her from where I currently live. She is thorough, kind and listens.

The care that the office takes with me. They are always kind and are able to answer any questions. The staff at Houghton Lake is great!

I’ve always had very good care and felt very heard with the doctor and all the staff very very pleased
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Nothing. So far I’ve had very positive experience calling for a question or setting up an appointment or being at the doctors and taken care of there by Dr and nurses.

Yes, they helped me by wheelchair get to office and after appt, they pushed me to my car due to I can't walk that good. They are very nice and accommodating in helping me.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Nothing! It was good!

I have a co-pay that I like to pay at time of service, but it doesn’t seem to show up when I stop at the front desk upon departure.

Chronic back pain was reduced to light or often no pain; am able to golf, split and stack wood besides just getting out of bed without any sharp pain.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Quit using the internet to contact me; despite face recognition I often have difficulty getting my messages

Dr. Harrington is very personable, compassionate , and listens to you. Her expertise in the medical profession is very obvious. I feel blessed to have her:)

Better communication between nurses and patients. Answers to questions on the portal are very slow in being answered. I assume the nurses are responsible for the portal management ?

On my last visit. It was for a six month follow-up and a cyst had become inflamed over the weekend and the doctor very kindly examined that for me. Referred to her surgeon.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Mainly the only issue was getting an appointment. Also when I was asked about a. vaccine and i said i wanted time to think about it suddenly they’re giving me a Paper to sign saying I refused it and I didn’t feel that I refused it as I just want to think about it. I did sign it but regretted doing so later. And did decide to get the vaccine . While taking care my mother for hers

Staff is always awesome. Dr Harrington followed up with my care plan, listened attentively, mindfully, interacted with questions, explanations and any f/u needed. Today was 100% outstanding. It was my Medicare visit. I don’t like portals because I have a hard time assessing mine. A f/u phone call from staff would be fine with me. 👍😊
What could have been done to improve your experience?
At other visits I feel she can’t look at me a great deal because she has to document so much in so little time. I love eye contact. Sometimes she’s rushed d/t her caseload. I respect and honor her, and feel this isn’t personal, but d/t the pressure she is under because of the number of pts. she has to see in such a short period of time. This is Mid MI not Dr Harrington’s choice. Things have changed over the yrs, and most have been positive, this one is not. She is personable and an active listener. Her knowledge base is amazing and I trust her a great deal. TY!

What could have been done to improve your experience?
I was sitting in the area by the doctor's office and staff came and bilgerntly asked me was I waiting for a provider? No. Was I waiting for a doctor? No. Was I waiting for a NP? No (A provider, doctor and NP are the same, I'M not stupid.) Then what are you doing back here? I'm waiting for my [age] year mom, whose seeing the doctor. Staff did not offer to assist her on the way to the exam area. She became a little confused and wasn't sure if she went back far enough.

I lived in [State] 30 years prior to moving to Michigan. There is a recognizable difference in health first ([State]) and here. I’m very impressed with the facilities and personnel both in Houghton Lake and Midland. I have had positive experiences in all my dealings with MidMichigan. No complaints!

Nothing comes to mind.

Dr. Lisa Harrington takes good of me. she always takes time to listen to me and her nurse, Ashley, is great and calls me back on at on a timely manner. I am so happy with the care that I receive from MdMichigan offices. The pharmacies are great and fills my meds and lets me know when they ready to be picked up I glad I changed to My Mid Michian healh

The receptionists and the technicians that did my thyroid ultrasound and breast exams were absolutely excellent wonderful people

I've never had any problems with the service @ Mid-Michigan and have been treated respectfully @ Lisa Harringtons office specifically. Great doctor from my experience.
