I am so happy to be asked. I was honestly going to go out of my way to find a place to leave a review because Dr. Lewis had my jaw dropped.At age 11, I started a life of chronic illness and one problem after another. Now at age 32, my medication list is long, I rely on medical devices like an insulin pump and sleep apnea machine, I'm in recovery, have bipolar disorder, and more. Dr. Lewis was extremely knowledgeable about my complex medical history, and I learned so much from him in just one appointment.He makes eye contact, listens, and is truly compassionate. He even apologized for what life has put me through and validated that I'm a strong person . He explained medication side effects, interactions, and connections between symptoms in ways no other doctor ever has. He gave me several "aha!" moments where things from my past finally started to make sense.He was incredibly thorough, discussed every treatment option with me, and we made decisions together. He did not push medication at all. Instead, he wanted to start with an MRI, physical therapy, supplements, and other conservative approaches first. He even removed a medication that was harming me more than helping me - one that had originally been prescribed by my PCP before I saw neurology.I truly would not want to see another doctor after this experience. I drove an hour there and an hour back, and it was SO worth it.

Dr. Lewis was more than outstanding. His effort in trying to determine my needs, and trying to make me understand my situation, was extraordinary. He spent a great deal of time making sure I underdtood the effects I could expect regarding [ ] Syndrome. His honesty was anither detail I needed. What an atteibute to this office!!

I had such a wonderful experience at this appointment.From the moment I walked in the front door the two front desk ladies were friendly, and efficient with big smiles that didn't quite. Truly an excellent customer service experience. I am extremely pleased with Dr. Lewis, and this Is truly some of the best bedside manner I have experienced. Dr. Lewis was truly attentive listening to all of my concerns and made me feel seen as a patient, while creating and very safe and comfortable environment for the appointment. His instructions and medical advice was clear and concise, it is clear to see his passion for the practice. Truly 10/10 experiences.

The front desk staff were extremely cordial, sharing their name with me. Impressive! The medical assistant did the same. Dr. Lewis was amazing and caring! I couldn't have asked for a more thorough first time evaluation with him and his plan for tests vs a different provider outside of Lee Health. I am so grateful that I got a chance to see Dr. Lewis as it is hard to get into neurology. I was a previous patient with Dr [last name]. Thank you All for the excellent care!

From the front desk/registration to Rachel and Dr Lewis everyone was excellent. Dr Lewis has an excellent bedside manner. With 43 years in HC he spoke to me at my level while still ensuring I understood everything he was doing and why.

Dr. Matthew was excellent. He's very personable and easy to talk to. He's also took his time explaining my mother's diagnosis and what my options were and didn't try to influence me in either direction, but told he'd be there for me. Very kind and I came out of the the office with a much better knowledge and understanding of the disease and how to approach it

Dr. Lewis, I feel took the time with me , explained things about my Brain injury was very kind . That is not always the case with people like myself. It takes a special doctor to bring themselves to equal ground with with patient's that have been through a very emotional and traumatic experience like myself. I respect that and appreciate there are still doctors that care and enjoy doing what they do.Thank You

The staff at the front was so friendly. Priscilla had the biggest smile and she was very patient with the patient coming in. Heather Was approachable and very helpful getting me ready for a doctor Luis, And Dr. Matthew Lewis was phenomenal. He was so easy to talk to. He was approachable. He was gentle. He was definitely my fave. Thank you guys. Great job.
