What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Widman is a wonderful and caring PA, but it is very hard to get an appointment to see her. I would actually recommend a friend or family member to seek out a different provider that may be easier to schedule an appointment with.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr Widman has been very good about getting me the info that I wanted in a timely matter. However one of the girls that works there was not the kindest person on the phone. But thankfully she has not been the one that I have had to deal with again.

Dr. Widman is the kind of all around doctor for your entire family, of all ages, young to old! I feel she is knowledgeable in all aspects and makes good health recommendations.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Lena Widman as my primary. I have a good comfort level discussing my health issues. Dr. Widman really listens to my needs and helpful with prescribing meds.

Dr. Widman is very nice, although she is usually late with her televisit calls by as much as a half hour sometimes. I had a physical booked in September, and the office called and made me schedule a different appointment two days prior (a televisit) to go over my chronic health problems, of which I only have a few. This seemed unnecessary and a money grab. I also asked for a different blood test to be ordered for assessing diabetes than the A1c (as I have been borderline), and she would not do it. I ordered it myself through Quest online and it was abnormal.

I have already shared with them how well I’m treated by Dr. Widman & the staff. I told my son that, even if I move out of the area, I would still want to have her as my PCP. Her compassion and passion for medically serving people is very evident in her personality and skills. I’m so grateful for her being my doctor — she’s the best. :)

Dr is nice enough. Only issues are her reluctance to actually treat anything and her tendency to refer you to specialists for everything. Pretty expensive referral service…
