What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I felt that Leann was actually listening to what I had to say, was really trying to understand what was going on and unlike most doctors, had not already made up her mind about my case before the first minute of talking with me. I felt that she truly had my best interest at heart and wasn't just going to push some medication off on me unless she truly felt it was going to help. Also she was trying to find the underlying cause, not just treating the symptoms.

I found my yearly check up to be what I wanted. All quedtions and concerns were answered.

I highly recommend Dr Murphy and her staff for medical care. They really do care about the patient. Thank You so much.

I think she has hit on something that has been undiagnosed for two years. I am anxious to prove her right, get her treatment, and feel better.

IBS-D is a difficult diagnosis, and causes of it can vary. Give Leann a chance to hear you out. She’s smart and can listen. She will get you started on a path to help you. If it needs escalating, she will certainly refer you up the ladder.

For 9 months I went without services. Phones were not answered by any staff. Voice messages were not returned . This was not Lee Ann’s fault. There was nothing out standing about trying to get appointments rescheduled because Lee Ann was at the hospital, I was told when the cancelled & rescheduled for 9 months. I have been a patient for many years & have never experienced this kind of treatment. I surely hope this problem has been solved. Lee Ann was wonderful as usual when available.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Get this office back to the service I have always had before the last 9 months. I will seek services elsewhere if this problem is not corrected.

I had my appointment rescheduled multiple times. I hope that the Michigan Health organization is doing more to adequately staff this specific area of expertise, as I understand rescheduling was due to limitations related to the lack of qualified resources associated with this area of expertise.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Schedule sooner, and have available resources to allow for earlier scheduling.

I guess there aren’t enough doctors or others to go around so it’s hard to get an appointment. Mine was changed a couple times although that’s not Leanne’s fault since the staffing is low.
