Without a doubt Dr. Lastra is the best pediatrician we have ever had! Very loving, attentive and warm, he treats our son as if he were family. He explains everything patiently and gives us a lot of confidence. For us it is more than recommended. Always grateful for your attention.

Dr. Lastra is truly an exceptional pediatrician. His medical expertise is outstanding, and his bedside manner is unmatched. He has been caring for two of my children, and we recently transitioned our third child to follow with him this past Thursday because we trust him completely.His staff is consistently kind, patient, and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming environment every time we visit. It's clear that both he and his team genuinely care about their patients and families.I am incredibly grateful to have Dr. Lastra caring for our family. Highly recommend.

Outstanding PediatricianDr. Lastra is an exceptional physician and one of my favorite pediatricians within Lee Health. He is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and his bedside manner is truly unmatched. He currently cares for two of our children, and we will be transitioning our third to him as well because of the trust and confidence we have in his care.It is rare to find a doctor who genuinely listens and demonstrates such compassion and dedication. We wish there were more physicians who care for their patients the way he does. He is truly an exceptional human being.The office staff is also wonderful-always kind, patient, and helpful. I am so grateful that I have found such a knowledgeable and caring doctor as Dr. Lastra Cabeza. He has helped my children by diagnosing their medical problems and quickly referring them to specialist. My children feel comfortable talking to him because he listens to them and acknowledges their needs. I am grateful we found him.

[ ] was born at [ ]. When we girst moved to Cape Coral last [ ] we were told we had to [ ] after registering with LPG before we could see a pediatrition. We were sent to an office that apparently had no doctor because he was only seen by nurse practioners. Luckily they had no available appointments for my older [ ] so they scheduled an appointment with Dr. Lastra at Cape Coral hospital. He was so good that I scheduled [ ] with him. Thank goodness I did because he diagnosed him with a severe medical condition and immediately sent referals for theappropriate specialists. I thank God every day that we found such a caring, knowledgeable doctor as Dr. Lastra.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lastra as our child’s pediatrician. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and caring. Excellent pediatrician Dr. Alexander Lastra Cabeza is a very competent and reliable professional. From the first consultation with my baby, he showed knowledge, responsibility and a very respectful treatment. It takes the necessary time to review in detail, explain everything clearly and answer any questions. In addition, it transmits security and generates confidence from the first moment. I totally recommend him as a pediatrician. He has criteria, patience and very human attention.

The staff was warm and welcoming, and were able to navigate me through a records issue I was having. Dr. Lastra was amazing as always. We are incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Alexander Lastra for our children. From the very first visit, it was clear that we were in the hands of someone truly knowledgeable and compassionate. Dr. Lastra takes the time to listen to all of our concerns, never rushing through appointments, and always explains everything clearly and patiently. Our kids feel comfortable and at ease, and we, as parents, feel supported and heard. Every symptom is taken seriously and thoroughly addressed, which gives us so much peace of mind. We couldn't recommend Dr. Lastra more highly. It's rare to find a pediatrician who combines deep medical expertise with such a warm, attentive approach. We're lucky to have them caring for our children!

Dr. Lastra is amazing! He always listen's to my concerns and offers alternatives to help my children. I have 4 and all of them are seeing by Dr. Lastra. I love the fact that I can talk to him about any of them if I have any concerns and he makes time to talk even if it’s not their schedule appointment. He’s so thorough with everything and stays on top of everything after sending referrals.
