I must say that every visit has been a pleasant experience and the care has been exceptional, I can't sat enough about Dr. McNamara and here staff.

I always recommend Mid Michigan Roscommon and Houghton Lake. I worked and received care from [withheld name of other medical center] for 15 years and the service, care, and compassion that Mid Michigan provides is so above and beyond what I experienced as a patient there. I will always refer people to Mid Michigan.

Krista is incredible! She’s so smart and thorough. I saw her once due to my regular provider being unable to see me. I really believe that chance encounter turned my health around. Now she is my provider and I couldn’t be happier! She’s really the BEST!

I called the office to make an appointment and was given ions in a couple months for a healthy visit. My provider found out and I was given an appointment within two weeks. She always listens. Always concerned about my health and my family as well. Very easy to talk to and explains everything in detail. I would never change my provider and I would encourage others to seek medical attention from her! I used to be with [hospital] but I feel mid Michigan takes care of my needs much better

I feel that the Roscommon office is less stressful I enjoy being able to go that way even though I live in [City] and I wish that Krista was there all of the time because the staff and the time is awesome my husband I only take him to the Roscommon because it is stress-free

My entire healthcare experience with MidMichigan has been commendable. I have had positive experiences with all of the staff I’ve seen – from the front office staff, to nurses and other support staff, as well as at the HCPs at the urgent care office in Houghton Lake. However, I am beyond pleased with my experience with Krista McNamara. She has been the best PCP I’ve ever had. She is caring, looks at me as a whole person, listens to and answers all my questions with attention and expertise, and not only all of that, but she is extremely time efficient as well! I am so grateful to be in her care. Please support her and keep her in our area!
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Really nothing from a care standpoint. From a systems standpoint, it would be nice if the Munson and Mid Michigan systems could better sync, since most healthcare in Northern Michigan is provided by one of these two entities. Having to have my lab and x-ray orders faxed to a specific lab, and then promptly getting the results back has been a bit of a hassle.

Maybe not quite so many reminders. I received a text, an email, a notification from my MyChart app, and a phone call. 😉
