I have fostered several children. As a physician, she is very cognizant that she was dealing with hurt and broken children. With her assistance I was able to turn every stone to maximize the treatment and therapies these children needed. Dr. Schiel is a very proactive doctor that will step out and do what is necessary for all of her patients. While society may look down on some situations, Dr. Schiel would roll up her sleeves and brainstorm and work with me. We made a good team and a difference in the life of several unwanted, over looked, and stigmatized people. Always showing a genuine, authentic, and caring approach, we worked together to help the children get what they needed while they were in my care. Thank you
