I would recommend this office but they don’t take new patients. They need to have a couple of PA’s for when Dr Kadaj is out for months for surgeries, vac., etc.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
It’s usually positive. He was trustworthy, thoughtful and patient, until yesterday. He immediately interrupted me, disregarded my valid concerns to blame my mental health, which we’ve never discussed and with which I continue to have the same long-term success with the same treatment, requiring nothing more than drug-maintenance. In addition, when I brought up a separate valid concern, he dismissed that immediately telling me that it’s solely because I’m fat, and blames me for not losing weight, as if I haven’t been trying for years. He continued to patronize me by explaining how simple it is, because it’s solely based on calories, and nothing else. Nothing to do with hormones, age, or medication. He then told me we could run some test so I feel better, and I got the usual lab work and nothing specific to my concerns. It felt like the visit was about making sure I know how wrong I am, how it’s all my fault because I’m just fat and crazy and THAT is also my fault.

We are extremely pleased with Ken and his staff. We get excellent service and they are always one step ahead of our health needs. We would not hesitate in recommending Ken and his staff!

I think Dr VanSumeren is one of the best doctors ever. He listens to your concerns, talks to you as you master and in a language you can understand. He always addresses all your concerns and any that he may have. I couldn't ask for a better doctor and I'd recommend him to all my family and friends. He is the best!

Kenneth VanSumeren is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, thorough, respectful and dedicated to his patients. Kenneth lets the patient ask questions, express concerns and interacts extremely well on the patients behalf. I feel comfortable and satisfied with the outcome fr I m my office visits. The staff is friendly, courteous, and quick to assist or respond to the patients needs. Great experiences every time. Thank you!
