Waste of time going to the walk in clinic. I have sinus infection and chest congestion, I got zero service. I pay a lot of money for my health insurance, when I go to a medical care facility, I don't expect to be charged for nothing. I found it to be quite ridiculous that I couldn't even get an antibiotic. Walk in clinic has turned into nothing more than a veterinary clinic.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I went to the clinic after work. I got at 5:30pm and the lady at the desk told me she couldn't help me cuz they close at 6:00pm & there was 8 people ahead of me. Why close at 6 pm? Most people work until 5pm. So I had to come back the next morning. During flu season you should be open longer!

Katie was great, and efficient. Listened and problem solved and had me out quickly with a plan. I would recommend someone wiping the chairs down in the waiting room routinely

Visited clinic with very painful ankle. She determine it was most likely just inflammation of my achillies tendon. Received a shot of Toradol and pain subsided for a few hours. Next day it was much better!

Katie was attentive and listened to all I had to say. She made sure I got eye drops for my pink eye that didn't contain a substance I was allergic to, and even helped me be prepared in case my husband ended up with pink eye as well. I appreciate how quickly we were able to get in, even with many people in the waiting room.

Katty and her staff did their best to insure the antibiotics I needed for my chronic infection and pneumonia would work. They showed due diligence in prescribing the correct antibiotics, even following up when they discovered my antibiotics were not compatible,. The care Katy and her staff showed they care about their patients.

Minimal wait time at urgent care. Staff was polite and caring even though not all patients were kind about waiting to be seen. Katie took time to go over my care.

I was in desperate need of medical help in Sault Sainte Marie (as I could not get s primary doctor in the area). I feel blessed to have found Katie at the UM community clinic! I’ve now seen Katie twice with infections related to my kidney stone issue. Katie is fabulous!

I liked her attitude regarding not using antibiotics Unless necessary, and her direction of not covering stitches..letting air And natural body mechanisms do the healing. I am recovering very well.

In over 2+ years she was the first person to listen, and not just say keep doing what your doing. She took extra time listening to my child's lungs and herd something, and took immediate action. Prescribed her medication to help, and told us what to do it thing got worse, and what we were trying to prevent. I appreciate it alot with my child being a NICU baby that had lung issues, and still has issues to this day it means alot to us. Will 100% go back because of the care she gave.

That her speed and decisiveness quickly stopped the shingles that had started on me especially around my eye called to get an appointment brought close so I could be in there the next day and get it checked and I really appreciate it. I'm greatly relieved by her professionalism and quick action it might have saved my eye.
