I really like My doctor but unfortunately they are short staffed and it took me 7 months to get an appointment… and I’m not alone from talking with other patients.. I should not have to use the ER as a dr office when I’m having problems

This is one of the best practices in the Tri-Cities. They are often scheduling five to seven months out. This can be disappointing, but it's worth the wait.

She seems to know her stuff and the staff is very friendly. But they're booked 7 months out, and because of mid Michigan and the insurance issues, the staff is unable to do their jobs efficiently. It looks really bad on them but I understand it's NOT their fault. I think I spoke to one very transparent nurse because they were extremely frustrated,but otherwise, they try to keep this stuff quiet, and it makes them look at fault.

I will find someone else for care as her wait time is unacceptable. It takes 6 months to get in and by the time she does a procedure and gets back to me, the data will likely be obsolete. It will take a full year to go from first call, to doing something to telling me results. Is that acceptable? Perhaps to the service giver, but as a patient, we have no option but to go somewhere else.

Also would be helpful to have office ours that are not coinciding with typical work hours/days (I.e Monday-Friday 8-4) as I cannot usually take time off work to attend appointments. It would be helpful to know if her appointments are running behind so I can know what to expect being I often need to leave/return to work for appointments.

There is nothing that could of been done better. I didn't have to wait to see the doctor in the waiting room or after I was taken back to the examination room. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
