They genuinely care about what I'm going through. I've experienced three separate clotting episodes just in 2025 alone—an alarming pattern, especially considering I'm on a blood thinner. It's far from normal for me. Thankfully, my hematologist has been a compassionate and attentive ally throughout it all. His understanding and care have meant the world during these unpredictable months.

Dr. Antunez quickly adjusted the medication frequency and dose which corrected my low hemoglobin issue. I had suffered with the side effects of dropping and extremely low hemoglobin for an extended period of time. It had affected my life and the ability to carry out everyday tasks. I am very grateful that my issue resolved and I that I have the energy and stamina to do the things I enjoy again.

My doctor told me that in order to treat me he needed a bone marrow. I liked that he cared that much about me. Most doctors today just give you a pill for whatever reason you have.
