While this was only my second visit, I was again impressed with everyone I came in contact with, beginning with the receptionist. Check-in was seamless and I was called back promptly. My initial visit with Dr. Antunez's PA, Suzanne, Dr. Antunez joined in shortly after. Test results were shared with an explanation and referral for another procedure and I really appreciated that Dr. Antunez went to far as to ensure I was comfortable working with the referring doctor and practice (Dr. N[last name] @ Borland-Groover - which of course I am!). Professionalism, courtesy, compassion, honest dialogue and humor are present in every interaction with every staff member. When dealing with test results, diagnosis, initial consult and treatment, all of these are imperative and so very appreciated!! While I would hope to never have to refer anyone to M D Anderson, if needed, I would do so without hesitation and actually with insistence this be the only choice.

I have gotten the best care there. Dr Antunez and staff are the best. I am taken on time and they are all aware of my current health status and discussed a path forward before my appointment. I could not feel better taken care of.

My first impression walking into and being greeted by Joseph. Very professional, Excellent Customer Service & Customer Focused. He shared the logistics and gave me an overview of what my visit there would be like. He also checked on me while waiting, to assure I was ok, because I arrived 30 minutes prior to my appointment. Very impressed with the cleanliness & layout of each area and the friendliness of the staff I interacted with during my appointment! I love Dr. Antunez because he was very thorough and personable. Entering M D Anderson Care Center for the first time was unsettling. While I do not have a cancer diagnosis at that time, I recently lost my baby brother to cancer (CLL which transformed to Richter's) so my trepidation was heightened. Every single staff member, whether in direct communication or in passing, was friendly, helpful and spoke from a voice of genuine cordiality. Dr. Antunez is not only brilliant but so compassionate and caring. He genuinely listened to my concerns, expressed true sympathy for the loss of my brother, delved into all the medications in my chart accumulated over the years to remove those no longer applicable and educated me so much on the mechanics and intricacies of the different organs and related areas. Honestly, I was fascinated and learned so much from him. I appreciate that he did not schedule a host of procedures but instead is applying an approach of one procedure, review the results and then determine if additional testing is needed. He also validated my concerns and invited me to not hesitate to contact his office (hm) with any questions, new issues, etc. before my scheduled return visit. I walked out feeling seen and heard which was everything!
