We had help and guidance before we arrived through phone calls, the portal and upon arrival. Check was simple and timely. Teresa with fiance was clear and easy to understand. She took us up to meet the Doctor. Doctor Melquist and his nurses were attentive and direct with the evaluation. I will recommend your hospital and staff.

The level of professionalism, kindness and genuine concern demonstrated by Yolanda at the admin-registration office, the folks at the reception desk on the 5t floor, the medical tech, followed by urologist RN Lilian, and care coordinator RN Deanna were of the highest caliber. I wish I wasn’t in this situation, but, knowing my care is in their hands I feel a whole lot better.

The entire experience starting at the front entrance reception, to the department coordinators, to the pre-screeners and the doctors and attending staff is first class. Everyone I came into contact with was super polite and attentive. I was glad the schedulers were able to schedule multiple tests or interviews close together as I come from two and a half hours away.

We have nothing but extreme appreciation to the entire care team in Dr. Jonathan Melquist’s office. In fact every single person we came in contact with, beginning at the reception desk, at MD Anderson has been nothing short of outstanding. Everyone was kind, compassionate, helpful and all went above and beyond to make our first visit wonderful. We are completely satisfied and at ease of the care we received and will continue to receive throughout my husband’s medical journey.

Everyone, I mean Everyone, I met or walked past that worked in the areas I went to at Baptist MD Anderson had a pleasant smile and a warm greeting. Even if it was "hello" there was a warmth about the interaction. From housekeeping to blood draws, the Chaplan and to the urology staff I felt a genuine warmth coming from Everyone. That feeling was there before and after my diagnosis of cancer. I also felt comforted in the large open waiting area that had group seating and calming art on the walls. Even the people in the waiting area, undiagnosed and diagnosed, were calm and supportive. Thank you for helping the diagnosis of cancer easier to swallow.
