Very prompt courteous service. Knowledgeable, caring attention by Dr. Arcenas. Not rushed during appointment. He knows my history thoroughly and has enough knowledge of my lifestyle to develop a plan of care and informed me of the effects and possible side effects to give me realistic expectations after prescribing an additional medication. I trust him with my health and well being after 8yrs as my PCP.

My doctor is thorough and extremely dedicated to my health. It is apparent that he reviews my chart before my appointment. Dr. Arcenas reviews my meds, vaccines, plus other concerns with various specialists I see. I’ve never know a doctor that comes into the examination room so prepared with my medical history as Dr. Arcenas. The front office is positive, friendly, and a pleasure with appointments, etc.

I have been going to this office for over ten years, and I am greeted with a pleasant and welcoming front desk. The check-in process is painless, and the waiting time is minimal. My doctor always spent enough time listening to and discussing my medical needs. The MyBaptists portal is updated with all my medical history that was performed by the Baptist Medical System of providers. I can send messages and receive prompt responses. A GREAT MEDICAL SYSTEM AND PROVIDER!

Always take great care of me. Doctor and staff very professional & friendly. Been going to Baptist South & Downtown for all of my health care for approximately 19 years. No need to change or go anywhere else. Dr. J. Arcenas has been my long term primary physicians and I couldn’t ask for a better doctor who really cares about keeping you healthy.

The Staff are kind & professional . Appointments are kept very close to scheduled time . Dr Arcenas takes his time listening to me & never rushes me . At my recent Medicare Annual Wellness visit he spent a great deal of time examining every body system & providing helpful information about his findings . He asks probing questions & is an attentive listener . I feel like I am privileged to have such a great Doctor managing my care . I hear how other people feel like their PCP does not take time with them & really does not care .
