What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
It is difficult to get on Dr. B’s schedule initially. It was SO worth it, though! I had been struggling with severe neck pain that did not respond to home stretching exercises. Her in-office treatment plus home exercises have done wonders for me.

Dr. Balawender incorporates a holistic approach in her practice. In my 80 plus years, I find her care, incomparable, superior to all of my previous practitioners. Her multi dimensional approach, with attention to the physical and mental domains, is extraordinary.

After I registered and completed all the check-in questions online, I received at least 7 additional reminders of the appointment via email and text. I consider this excessive.

I am so happy she practices in Midland. OMM therapy is invsluable, effective and safe and she is amazing! I am an RN with vast experience and aitoimmune issues and status post severe MVA. Her care helps me cont. my ADL’s effectively. No other physician has been able to achieve this tate of success and I have sought many since 2005. I never gave up!

Dr Balawander is a huge help in my healing. Given my trauma history, it’s a big deal that I feel safe in her care. She listens carefully to my health update and validates my medical needs. Genuinely life improving care with a smart, kind doctor.

Dr. Balawender has a wholistic methodology in practicing medicine. She focuses on the mental, as well as the physical well being of her patients. In my opinion, of all my positive experiences with my personal physicians, who have helped me to achieve my well-being, She has no peers.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Although not her domain, the outmoded restroom facilities at My Michigan office of Dr. Balawender's are deplorable. The restrooms ALL need to be "hands free." This neglect accentuates the possibility of transmitting handborne disease, rather than minimizing it.

Dr. Balawender is excellent at listening to her patients and at explaining things.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
The only negative thing I could think of is that there are times that she’s running late. It’s never been more than a half hour though.

She always listens and I feel like we are working together as a team to meet my needs and goals. I wish she could be my PCP.

Wait time can be long, but I understand and respect that she takes the time needed with her patients to meet their needs. I feel she does the same for me, and I would her expect her to show that same courtesy to everyone.
