Dr. Filosa spent a lot of time listening to me ,and intelligently responding to all of my questions and thoroughly explaining what was going on and what I needed to do to get relief from my symptoms. Office staff was very accommodating and reassuring. Thank you.

No one wants to be in this position but if you find yourself here, the care is exceptional. They are caring, loving, compassionate and help you through every step of the process. I feel blessed to have been able to seek and receive amazing care at MD Anderson.

My experience at Baptist Medical MD Anderson Cancer Center has been fantastic. The team of professionals truly cares about their patients, not only trying to cure cancer but always keeping the patient at the center of their treatment. Every team members listens to understand and speaks with compassion and to educate.

Everyone there is truly empathetic, supportive and friendly which greatly helps when dealing with health issues.

Dr Filosa and his nurse Virginia have impeccable bedside manner. They are also very personable , professional, and take the time to answer any questions that you have without rushing you. Also the way that they communicate with my family is outstanding. My surgery and after care have been seamless. I feel well cared for. Thank you!

Dr Filosa's bedside manner is 10 star. He listens to questions, speaks in simple terms to help patient's understanding. Recognizes patient's confusion about medical terms and finds a different way to explain. I never felt like he was too busy to explain procedures/protocols. Encouraged contact outside of appointments if I had any questions. I left every appoint/surgery feeling like he cared!

From the Check- in concierge on the first floor to the check in on my specific floor , the nurses and the doctor, everyone was very warm, kind and made me feel like my care was important.
