Doctor Huges was most professional, knowledgeable, caring, and had a wonderful demeanor. It was clear he had many years of experience, and felt very fortunate to have him going over my health, and explaining everything to my complete satisfaction. The nurse was also terrific, as well as the staff at the front desk.

Dr. Hughes did the best he could do in the time allotted. The issues I see are not the Doctors and staff but lack there of! Our hospitals and Doctors are too few based on patient count. This problem is widespread and will continue to get worse.

Dr. Hughes, his assistant and HEART INSTITUTE RECEPTIONIST WERE ALL EXCELLENT. Dr. Hughes was really out standing in his evaluation of my heart health, explaining factors of my [ ] and changes in my [ ] I was unaware off. I’ve been treated by many cardiologists over the last 30 years and never felt any were as caring , knowledgeable and helpful as Dr. Hughes and his staff.

I was very impressed by Dr. Hughes. He took a lot of time listening to my concerns and also in explaining how things were or were not connected to my [ ] issues. He explained possible treatment options and gave me the opportunity to add medication or not. He was very honest and understanding. The first Dr. in a long time that acted like I was a person and not treated according to how much my insurance was going to pay. Thank You Dr. Hughes.

The receptionist that was there while I had my appointment was wonderful. She always tries to help with appointments that are convenient and anything else I need. Unlike some cardiologists here Dr Hughs is one of the very best physician Lee Health has. I hope he never leaves!!!
