First, my caregivers, doctor and nurses, treat my good health as a priority with regard to procedures, treatments, and medicines. They also care about me as a person and offer encouragement and suggestions that uplift me. In fact, all of the professionals that have been part of the plan at Baptist MDAnderson to restore my body and mind to good health have been fantastic. Their positive and kind attitudes have made as much difference as the physical procedures. Thank you.

I am so, so pleased with ALL of the care that I've received at MDAnderson. EVERYONE is stellar! Last week, I met with Hinda Mamdouh (2nd meeting with her) for a radiation follow up appointment. Truly, from the first time I met Hinda, I found her to be such a knowledgeable, and compassionate professional! She patiently answered all of my questions and made great suggestions to help me manage my concerns and my quality of life. She never made me feel rushed - she listened to me with genuine patience and kindness! Her engaging, sweet spirit, in combination with her expertise and vast knowledge of medicine just reinforced how grateful and happy I am to be at M.D.Anderson! Thank you, Hinda and MDA! <3

I had reservations about seeing anyone who isn't Dr. A, including any NPs or PAs under him but Hinda did not disappoint. She is amazing. She was kind, I did not feel rushed, she listened, we discussed options and I feel like I am included in my care plan. Everyone in this office (radiation techs, admin folks, Chaplain Amy, nurses, and doctors/NPs/PAs) consistently and continually goes above and beyond. I'm so thankful for and lucky to have this incredible team. There will never be enough words or gratitude. Their knowledge, experience, and expertise combined with true compassion is everything a patient could ask for. The bar from Baptist downtown was low. So far no one at Baptist South Radiation Oncology has been...rude, untruthful about prognosis, insinuated they make medical decisions based on politics, threatening, lacking in communication/explanations, or gaslighting in treatment (talking to me like I'm an idiot and/or trying to convince me that what I (and my husband and/or friend) saw and heard with my own eyes and ears didn't really happen). So I doubted it was possible to be worse. Instead, Baptist South Radiation Oncology showed me they are better. Way better. The best. You keep sending surveys and asking me how I feel, I will keep bringing this up. Partly in hopes that it doesn't happen to another cancer patient and partly because I will never, ever forget or forgive those people downtown for what they did, what they said, and how they made me feel. Thank you, Dr. A, Hinda, Holly, Chaplain Amy, Kingston, Meredith, Jennifer, and Nathan. You guys are all the gold standard.
