Dr Romero listened to my questions and answered them as well as she could being the first time she saw me. Her suggestions for proceeding and follow-up in the future were thoughtful

Everything was outstanding, from the cleanliness of the floors to the people driving the golf carts to make the journey from the parking lot to the front door esier.

Registration gal, LISA, was kind and very thorough. She went overboard. I was going to be a little late in traffic. I called their number but apparently got a nice call center who said she would let them know right away. When arrived at registration, LISA explained no one had told them and she wasn't sure dr. Romero could still take me for this follow up. I explained rescheduling couldn't be until July as I was going to be gone 12 days starting 6/17. So she registered me, and had me go to sit doctors doors, and would they'd come get me. About 35 min later Lisa came back to let know I'd have to reschedule as they couldn't take me but she then explained Dr. Romero wanted me to see st least another doctor in her group before I left for vaca. When Lisa was looking it turned ii turned out Dr. Romero had a 10:40 open that morning. It was already 10:11 am, so I just. Waited a little longer. (Original was at 9:20 am anyway). Lisa made appt checked me in and I was able to see Dr. Romero. Well worth the edit as she took the time again to go b over and explain my blood labs, ratios and debility er time kept. She was happy. Made recommendation to remove allopurinol altogether as it'd been carried from Ohio and I don't show gout. She also had me stop iron as was gone. At least temporarily for iron tabs. Tgen exams mu Itchy skin rash/scratching" on both lower legs. Gone on for a couple years with only break about 1 & 1/2 year ago. I'd been to every doctor testing, allergist, Infectious diseases, and no one could tell me. I was embarrassed to wear shirts In 90 degrees In florida or swim. What a relief to me when Dr. Romero said Its nots as bad as many others and minimal case and she could help cute It- plaque Psoriasis! A cream and Allegra. No longer a guinea pig for I guess this or that. I had it on elbows. I ok ally years ago in Ohio. So this was actually knees I can now work with and take back my life without those particular issues and limitations on me. Next day, my nephrologist concurred with removing allopurinol too. I think I've found a good team for me of the sextet docs and my cardiologist also in Lee health system. After Dr. [ ] retired, she referred me to dr. Romero. I'm so glad she did. .
