Dr. Hanekom has the best "bedside" manner of any GP I've had over my long life thus far. I don't even believe it is just an attempt at bedside manner....I'm confident that it is genuine. Just outstanding on his knowledge, engagement and concerns for any and all issues I raise. I literally would change my insurance, and follow him to a different practice if he ever decides to leave Lee Health.

Without doubt Dr Hanekom is excellent in his duties. I will be 89 soon and in that time my experience s have been good but Dr H is so comforting and assuring. He takes his time to explain and advise. We moved permanently to Florida and feel blessed he is our GP.

Dr. Hanekom is one of the best Dr's. I have ever seen. He helped me through a difficult time I was going through and I will always be greatful. He listens and takes his time, I never feel rushed. Its unfortunate he is now only working two days a week. It takes forever to get an appointment with him now. He's definitely one of the best.

Dr Hanekom is outstanding of understanding a patient’s health issues and putting a plan together to address them. He listens and shows care always. He should be training other doctors of what it means to be a primary care physician!
