Dr. Hanekom should get a Physician of the Year award as far as I'm concerned. He is, by far, the best doctor I have EVER had looking after my well-being.

Johanna at the check in desk. She is always friendly and went out of her way to find my pre op orders from my orthopedic surgeon so I could have my blood work done before I saw Dr Hanekom She is truly a very caring helpful staff member who truly shines at the check in desk It's obvious she loves her job and is excellent at it.

Dr H always shows he truly cares about his patients. He guides me to improve my overall health and wellness. His caring and personal approach makes it not feel like a bad thing to have a conversation with your doctor. I have great trust in him.

I have waited over a year for the appointment with DR. Hanekom and as always, it was worth it. He is always attentive and never rushes me during the visits. It makes you feel right at home when he talks to you and really listens. He genuinely cares.

The assistant was very kind, respectful and professional. She was the best in take person that l have experienced at Surfside!Dr. Hanekom is extremely knowledgeable about current medical research related to concerns that l had. He clearly explained my blood tests results and compared them to prior lab draws. Dr. Hanekom is an excellent provider who engages the patient in health decisions. I appreciate the doctor-patient relationship that we have. He is a valuable asset to the Lee Health system!
