I requested the appointment specifically to discuss perimenopause. This was noted when I scheduled online, when I was checked in by the medical assistant, and in my appointment with Dr. Giffin-Rao. Despite this, she told me my annual was due within the next month or two and continued on. In This meant that time was spent reviewing general check boxes, my problem list/meds updates, rather than allowing time for us to fully discuss my concerns. As a physician myself, I understand feeling busy and like there can be a lot of things to cover in a limited time, but I also think that had she focused on my chief complaint and allowed me to make a separate visit for my annual, we'd have had time to adequately address my concerns.

My wait once I arrived was a bit long, but being later in the day I guess that can be understandable.

Extremely professional

Dr. Giffin-Rao was very professional and approachable. She explained everything clearly and listened to everything I said. She identified a path forward that I am very comfortable with.

I feel like Dr Giffin-Rao isn't listening to my concerns anymore and gets upset or has a problem when I ask for a second opinion. She's also not discussing or addressing certain concerns or issues from previous visits or messages.

She has been my Dr. for a number of years. She is friendly and always listens to what my concerns are. She is just great all around.
