Dr. Mariscal was awesome to work with. He explained everything that he was going to do in detail and I left the clinic feeling great knowing he knew after examining and testing what was going on with me.

Dr Ngo is such a caring person. So easy to talk to, great sense of humor and has always treated me more like a friend rather than a patient. The whole staff is always friendly and helpful.

It was two and 1/2 weeks after my diagnosis before i even got to see Dr Torgeson. He did a very good job explaining choices and answering my questions but the information was still so new I did feel a little lost, he was clear I could choose a lumpectomy or mastectomy, and asked me to make a decision in two days so he could get me on his surgical schedule. I was still feeling overwhelmed and wasn't ready to make that decision yet. I've now seen the oncologist and I was ready to make my choice. I didn't contact Dr. Torgeson because I decided to pursue a second opinion.

Everyone did their job very well. For me, since I have had multiple issues to deal with, it was hard to take all of the information in and try to make a good decision. For that reason, I felt somewhat rushed and under pressure.

For people who live farther up north… ie princeton /zimmerman, it’s absolutely crazy to drive to fridley for an appointment. They need to make these available in elk River or Princeton, there needs to be things closer. Not everyone is comfortable going such places for services and especially if people are older.This needs to better for customers.

Maybe before appointment, send out a flyer with the options because the day of the appointment is very overwhelming and it's a lot to take in to make it a decision. I can't think of anything else. Just sometimes it's overwhelming and you don't really listen 100%. So that's all I have to say.

I felt that this visit was probably unnecessary. The doctor is very busy and it seemed unnecessary for him to explain that procedure to me in person. Seems like that could have been done maybe with a short video or something like that. Just seems like it just added adds to your cost, which is automatically a cost of either the government or the insurance company. And I really didn't get that much out of the visit, although everybody was very pleasant. It just seemed like overkill to me.

Finding out you have breast cancer is an out of body experience. I was in shock. I really appreciate how I don't have to be the one to figure out what to do next. Schedulers are reaching out to me. Reminders are being sent. Thank you, Fairview, for making my rock bottom a softer place to land.

Disappointed that it looks like my surgery will be pushed into April due to surgical scheduling that far out. Dr. Ngo did give me advise to make myself more comfortable in the mean time.

The recovery team was very vague on release and care instructions. We felt like we were being pushed out the door. Not much information was given on care at home.
