That when he knew my results were not in he did not have the decency to call. He should of had someone call and set up a different day. I was told my results were in.

His willingness to address all of the questions I came in with, even though it took some more time. He was thorough and listened well.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
His assistant was not friendly and expressed that the practice was now part of My Michigan Health, which she seemed dissatisfied with. She came off as not being happy in her job.

What could have been done to improve your experience?
Dr. Ofori-Darko’s nurse was supposed to send me information on diet, never received it (over 1 month). I waited over 3 months for my appointment and was very disappointed when I left. I don’t feel he listened to my concerns or fully understood my problem. When I reviewed my after visit summary/notes, there were inconsistencies and things listed that we did not discuss. Dr. Ofori-Darko performed my colonoscopy last year; that was the only contact I had with him until I started having problems 3 months ago. I asked to see another doctor in their practice and was told I cannot change providers. Patients should have a say in who provides care to them. Doctors are forcing patients to seek care out of state.

Check in was great ,nurse that checked me in was outstanding I believe her Name is Wendy. And Dr. Ofori_Darko is a 100 % excellent doctor! The whole office is outstanding.

Dr. Ofori Darko is an excellent practitioner. He's thorough and answers all questions in words easily understood. On my first visit he made a sketch of how they liver works and related it to the results of my tests.The office in general runs on time, which tells me they all value my time.

Dr. Ofori-Darko explained my options and we worked together to develop a care plan that I was comfortable with. He took the time to make sure my questions were answered in a way that I could understand.

Wendy is a helpful and thoughtful nurse. Check-out staff is friendly too. Dr. Ofori- Darko is what every doctor should be. He's friendly, engaging, genuinely concerned in helping you stay well and achieve health goals. Great doctor!

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
From the time I opened the door and walked into the office until I walked back out the door everyone acknowledged me right away and was friendly and courteous. Dr Ofori-Darko is very through and takes his time by asking me questions and acknowledges my answeres. He then ordered blood work to compare from the year before to see if there has been any change in my health.
