Perla is welcoming and easily discusses the process of achieving your goals. She is very nice and has a calm demeanor. I honestly was scared to come back because I knew I gained weight. I took in 2 of my sisters within the past 12 months, one has dialysis and another had a stroke. After my appointment with Perla she explained I still had to lose the original weight and reminded me of nutrients goals. With that being said I am happy to refocus and be on my way again to get the gastric sleeve. I do not want to care for ill family members and struggle withy weight. I aim to lose this weight and never look back. Thank you Perla and Shelley and team.

She answered all my questions allowed me to ask as many as I wanted to. She is knowledgeable in the bariatric field and she was very careful to make sure I met all the pre op goals and she double checked everything. I feel very confident in her ability's as a physician.

The potential to need surgery is a little scary, but after meeting with Dr. Kwan, I feel very confident that I am with the right person to guide me through and perform this procedure. She was very reassuring and I have no qualms as we move forward. The entire process with her office has been positive. They contacted me right away and always responded to my inquiries with competence and caring.
