They were very understanding because I had to leave the building because of a fire drill and a nurse escorted me outside because I could not open my eyes because of the flashing lights would have sent me into a seizure.
My Michigan needs to think about not having that Go on in the neurology department because it can quickly put someone into a seizure

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I've only seen doctor pinkard twice, but I like her very much. She is very direct and no nonsense, but not cold. She listened to my symptoms and my concerns and expressed her expert opinion on what my best course of action would be without demanding that I accept it. I do accept her opinion because she is the expert, and I firmly believe that i'm going to get better under her care

Dr. Pinkard is wonderful. Her Botox injections are less painful than Dr. Ma's. She is friendly, professional & kind. I trust her to make decisions for me. Everyone should choose this Dr.

I was new to the area so when my pc recommended her I was apprehensive as with all new drs but she is a perfect fit for me. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a neurologist.

Very supportive, understanding, courteous and supportive in everything I was I was experiencing.Never once made me feel rushed or like I was just another patient with stupid questions. Extremely thoughtful and made me less than just another patient in pain. It was refreshing to have a doctor who shared actual compassion and understanding.

Having had a stroke has left me with the need on my part to do all I can to limit the chances of having another stroke. The care and information that I have received from Dr. Pinkard and her staff has helped me with that goal. I am grateful for care and concern.

I finally found a doctor that “heard” me. Over the years you get tired of being passed around from specialist to specialist and no one took the time to listen to you. They just write a prescription and say see you in six months. This is the first doctor that “saw” me. I cried when I got home from my appointment with her because she listened and saw the problem and explained everything I’ve been going through for a long time. She figured it out! I’m on the right medication, I’m not fatigued and tired anymore. I can sleep! I’m so blessed to have found someone as caring as Dr. Pinkerd. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥️

When I saw Dr. Pinkard, she listened and promised she would get it sorted out for me. True to her word, within just one hour of my appointment, my pharmacy called to let me know my Aimovig was ready for pickup. I initially thought the pharmacy notification was just for the supplements she recommended, so I was beyond thrilled and surprised to find out it was the exact shot I had been fighting to get for years.
She is compassionate, incredibly efficient, and genuinely advocates for her patients. I can't recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for a neurologist who actually gets things done.

She was wonderful. Spent an hour with going over all my tests and explaining everything. Watched me walk to determine if I needed therapy. When I left said to contact her if I had any more questions. I did not feel rushed at all. Was very thorough.

Dr. Pinkard listens and is very compassionate. She is working diligently to improve my health. Dr. Pinkard reviewed my history carefully and treated me with compassion and respect. She is addressing the vestibular symptoms and migraines I have been dealing with years. She looks at the whole patient not just the diagnosis. Dr. Pinkard definitely understands what I am going through.
