staff was very good including all doctors & nurses wait time before seeing anyone was 3.5 hrs. was my only complaint.

Hello, my name is Diane Mudlow and I was so astonished and grateful for the exemplary, excellent service from each and every person I encountered at Renown South Meadows Emergency. It was a scary time for me, as I think it is for everyone that goes there and everyone, everyone, including the transport gal, Molly, from every nurse, Liz and Alex, this PT scan tech, Paul, and Dr. Dewees were superb. They explained everything patiently, what was going to be done, what the outcome and the results were, some steps and ideas for self-care after I came home again. I'm by myself, and it was essential for me to feel confident, and I did so with their care.

It was the most pleasant ER visit that I've ever had to experience in my life. Everything went smoothly. Everybody was nice and courteous. Couldn't be more pleased with my visit. I'm very glad that this hospital is located very close to me.

Everyone was so warm but professional as well. The building is older, yes, even more reason to keep the bathroom spotless, even after a long day. Just saying…

Everyone was very attentive and kind. Everything was explained and I was put at ease. Then I was given papers that explained what my MRI showed. Very helpful. It was a much better experience than I envisioned.

I came to the ER after a trip to urgent care for treatment of atypical pneumonia. I have one complaint.... I'm retired RN and I'm always looking over things carefully. The new IV is being used in the ER are horrible!!! Painful to insert and painful afterwards. Please pass this on.

The individual that did my triage was fantastic, no bruises from my IV!! And my nurse was VERY kind! Thank you both for taking care of me ��

Extremely efficient coordination of services. I had to get an x-ray, urine sample, abdomen CT, EKG, and more. One proceeded smoothly and fairly quickly one after the other, all with major professionalism and communication.

I felt really lucky to have Dr Jennifer Conti. She was very professional, attentive & kept me updated. She actually contacted my Opthamalogist & explained my problem & made sure they would contact me in the a.m.

Your staff was very attentive and professional and took care of my chest pains and a heart attack very well. The only thing that I had to clarify that I did not need bloodless treatment and they wanted to add a transfusion line and there was a misunderstanding there and then when I would ask for a blanket or something they sometimes got distracted and forgot. But otherwise it was very well done and I'm happy with the quality of care.

The young men that took me to the room did not introduce himself, when I requested a blanket he let it folded on the bottom of my hospital bed ( I had a big injury on my leg I could not reach , and my bed hospital rail was down . At one point I felt sleep and I almost felt down .

Dr. Michael Taylor, M.D. was dedicated, professional and compassionate. I can't effectively express my gratitude that I was placed in his care. I was not only physically suffering, I was just short of a psychotic break. He was honest about what he could and couldn't do for me. His treatment decisions and advice offered me enough to get me through the toughest experience. The nursing and support staff were also very good and professional. I would like to say, every community can use a crisis treatment center that focuses on the gap I fell into. I probably could have used a 24-72hrs inpatient medically guided detox off prescribed medication. I wasn't really suited for the behavioral health lock down- but also ER wasn't quite the right fit either. I got lucky Dr. Taylor listened with understanding and willing was to try and help me.
Thank you for your services Renown. You do serve the community well, it's all appreciated by me.

Not only did I receive excellent care, but the staff also asked if they could use my visit for training of the new staff members, which I strongly agreed to. Students can only learn from 'real' experience, rather than just from books and classrooms. I spent the majority of past career training people in the operation of very advanced and complicated machines, which was only truly successful, when I had the students actually operate the machines, rather than watch me, as I already knew how to operate them, they didn't, LOL!

Dr Shrake was very good. He was prompt, thorough and explained things to me very well. Most importantly I could tell that he really cared. I hope to never be in the ER again but if I do, I would be thrilled to have Dr Shrake as my doctor.
The nurses did a great job also.
Paul with CT was excellent as well. Kind and caring.

The emergency doctor checked on the possible side effects of the medication that had been injected several weeks before I reported still having symptoms. He also ordered X-ray and ultrasound since I had previous blood clots. He was thorough. The ultrasound tech was excellent and explained that if I've had a clot, I may have future clots even if on blood thinners and the doctor also affirmed this.

Dolly was amazing! She explained everything about the heart monitor in great detail but was clear in simplifying and asking for my understanding and confirmation that I understood. What a great lady. She was the one who first called me to schedule and encourage me to come in and get the monitor she had after 2 of the home shipped items fell off and I was discouraged and didn’t want to bother. What an angel. Keep her.

Everything was just great. The only thing was that room was so cold. But other than that, it could have just been me. I was very pleased with everybody. From the gal when I first walked in until I walked out, they were just very sweet. They were very good. I was very impressed. Thank you.

The doctor was extremely good and the doctor's practitioner, the nurse, was excellent. He was really, really good, very informative. And yes, it's twice now I've been to that South Meadows Renown and both times was a very, very good experience. I would definitely rate you guys a 10. And I have recommended people to you. Thank you.

I experienced very excellent care in my ER day. Dr. Talbot was a kind, caring, intelligent, informative doctor. He had a challenging evening. There was a death of a child that occurred and it was obviously a profound experience for all the staff. It was for me lying there listening to it. They handled it so beautifully, professionally and lovingly. And I have nothing but wonderful things to say for all the staff, but especially Dr. Talbot. And the nurse that cared for me closer than the other nurses was, I think her name was Kelsey. But all of them were great, but I had a particularly longer time with Kelsey and she was lovely. The ER physician was exceptionally good and just very informative and delightful, explained everything I needed to know. But the only thing is the floor in the reception area was not cleaned very well after a patient urinated on it on purpose. And they, just someone kind of came and did a quasi job cleaning it up. So that was the only thing I thought. So, but the ER department was exceptional and I would definitely go back. Thank you.
