The ER doctor was very thorough explaining what was going on with my eye injury and making sure I was able to see a ophthalmologist to discuss the extent of the damage to my eye injury and to discuss the treatment plan for my eye injury

On this specific emergency room visit, the receptionist was excellent, great customer service, and the care provider was so very nice and very informative. On this specific emergency room experience, it was very positive.

I was very pleased with my experience. It was an unfortunate situation in Asia, but the clothing was clean. I was treated quickly, even though there were some delays. It was explained to me what was going on in the meantime. It took me a little bit for my husband to be able to come and get me and pick me up at night, so I was there like a couple hours after treatment waiting, and they kept checking on me, made sure I had water, and I was attended to. And the doctor on his way out came in, but before I was going and checked in with me again, and it just made an unpleasant situation as pleasant as it possibly could be. I was very thankful and appreciative of the care I received. I would recommend them to anybody. Much more convenient and quicker than going to the main Renaillan hospital on Mill Street. Just couldn't say enough good about it.

Very very clean Emergency Room. In comparing this Renown South Meadows Emergency Room to my two other times (January and May) in Renown Mill Street Emergency Room - this South Meadows ER is extremely cleaner and extremely more professional then the Mill Street ER. The cleanliness of this South Meadows ER is exceptionally impressive. This South Meadows ER provides exceptionally superior care.

JR the nurse who put my IV in was excellent in his technique. Talked me thru the procedure and I only required on stick!!
It is very hard to draw blood or put an IV in my veins. I usually takes 1-4 sticks.

The receptionist that I saw first was more interested in talking and chatting than inputting my info in the computer which became very annoying as I was in a great deal of pain ( which was why I came in) other than that everything was great. I don’t remember her name but she was an older lady.

The only thing that I would say is that there seemed to be a misunderstanding between the doctor and the pharmacist. The doctor called me a couple hours later to ask me to come back for two additional injections that, apparently, I should have received when I was there the first time. Otherwise it was a really good experience.

When I arrived at emergency, everybody was very kind, very helpful. The registration went well. It was a very busy evening there, but nobody got excited. Everything went smoothly.

My night shift nurse was great, very understanding. The MDs were attentive and helpful in getting me imaging for my issue. I would definitely use this ER again despite working at another hospital in town.

I can Honestly speak for myself now that there is still a good Hospital in my hometown. Having worked in another local hospital for over 12 years. Left the whole healthcare when Covid started in 2019, I then moved to Baja California for five years and having to experience myself anything with hospital related in California was a horrible experience. Returned back to Reno I shortly after moving back needed to have to use the paramedics to transport me to a hospital I asked to be taken to northern Nevada hospital in sparks. I wouldn’t recommend even taking my dog there. The nursing staff was very unprofessional I had been dropped off very early morning it was hitting 5pm and still didn’t have response of what was wrong with me. I have tried to stay away from any hospitals as much as I can. Having returned to work in the healthcare industry again but doing home health now. I can honestly tell friends and family now that Renown South Meadows treated me like a human. They is still good caring, intelligent, and compassionate people working the field. I enjoy so much working in myself. Having experience new nurses brought me so much joy in the amount of care and integrity. They spent with me and made me feel safe.

Dr. Aiden Gould is amazing. She is so very clear and compassionate. The nurses were very helpful and caring. The only concern I would say I had was an angry man started yelling at the receptionists when they were trying to clarify what he needed and there was no security to be found. I understand that times are tough but there needs to be a security guard available to those women at all times. Not someone 5 minutes away but right there. He was very angry and could have done them harm before anyone could have stopped him.

Dr. Aidian Goulgh was fantastic best ER MD ,took time with me ,answered question ,addressed concerns and explained everything.Took time with my family and was in contact with my surgeon.There quite a while but great care.Thank you

Yes, Richard Aguilar. The process went very well. I was fellow who cracked my rib and very much pain. They did the best I can remember. But it's hard, it's hard to get a good few days later. I'm still in pain and thank you. Thank you for the process. There was a guy, the doctor was good, I don't remember his name, and Chris was a nurse who was fantastic. You really have some good personnel there. I can't really think much more than that. Thank you very much. Bye.

I was treated with care and kindness during my visit to the ER. The staff members were very friendly, while being professional. The doctor listened carefully as I explained my symptoms. He explained what tests he ordered, and why. After reviewing the tests, he explained his diagnosis in an understandable way, and made sure I had no questions about what to do.

The only notes I would have on this is at the very beginning I was asked to be weighed. I said that I didn't want to. I just got out of treatment and they said that I didn't have to look so I didn't look and that weight still popped up in my MyChart which caused a lot of relapse thoughts and behaviors. I wasn't a huge fan of that but other than that everybody else was incredibly kind, respectful. Even the ER tech herself who asked me to be weighed anyways was incredibly respectful. I appreciated the professionalism of the Triage RN (Jen?) as well as the (thankfully) brief interaction with the ED physician who was pleasant and was not put out by my symptoms that had resolved prior to meeting her.
