Dr. Hooten saved my eye site and my life. I was referred to her by another Ophthalmologist and she diagnosed my condition and told me to go immediately to the ER, because my vision was obstructed by a blood clot. She is concerned about my health and getting the correct treatment for my condition. She advocated for me by giving me a letter explaining my medical condition so I could give it to the doctor in the ER. My condition has greatly improved thanks to her swift actions. She is a Doctor 😇 and a wonderful human being. I am forever grateful to her and her amazing staff that kept my spirits up.🙏🏽

She was professional, courteous and thorough. Gave me a shot to disolve the blood in my left eye, after ensuring the retina was not detached. By 6 PM the blood and spot had disappeared. Any qualm over replacing Dr Kaplan are gone.
