What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
She is very personable and really cares about her job. She explained what pallitive care is and what they can provide. She explained the difference between in-hospital and out-of-hospital codes. (I may have not phrased that exactly right but she will help us with paperwork on her next visit.)

Debbie is a very friendly and kind woman…..she has helped me to understand what my mother in law is going through. Hopefully after the speech therapy is in place [Name] will be able to swallow better…..
This will be an answer to my prayers!!!
When a person swallows the way that [Name] has been doing for several years it makes Life challenging….. for me and my family!!

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Debra comes to my home to see my mother in law….. there is only so much we can all do for a [age] year old woman that is set in her own mind on how she is going to live her life! I try to make her happy and safe and sometimes it is easy and then it is tough….. this is all part of the journey! Take care….. [Name] Some days are better than others!!!

Absolutely- I already have told friends and family about Deborah.. Deborah has been my Father’s angel. I cannot express how comforting it is to know she is taking care of my Father. Deb is kind, knowledgeable and empathetic and the best part is my Father likes her and feels comfortable with her. We cannot express our gratitude enough. Thanks Deborah!

Deborah and her staff have always been courteous and polite. They have always answered any questions and have made arrangements for visits around my busy schedule. I would recommend Deborah to all my friends and family.

Deborah is the most talented and helpful nurse that I have ever met. She always is in time, she returns calls very quickly. I feel that she really cares about the patient and their goals and progress. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I told my family & friends about Deborah. She helped me through some rough patches. She treated me with kindness & concern. I felt that I could confide in her about anything & that she would do her best to help me. I cannot say enough good things about Deborah. She is a very special woman.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Deborah is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me with many challenging items within the MyMichigan health care system. I'm in the process of transitioning Oncology care from [Hospital, City, State] where I've spent the past 6 years in and out of clinical trials from Phase 1 -3. It's been challenging finding the physician resources that I need in order to continue my long standing battle against cancer. Deborah has aided me in finding the proper resources in Mid-Michigan.

What could have been done to improve your experience?
The medical field has become a difficult maze to navigate. I am helping my mother with her health concerns. She would absolutely be unable to do the things I am doing. That has always been the difficulty, but now the number of specialist involved has increased the difficultyexponentially. I looked to palliative care to help me navigate this situation. I looked to palliative care to help me navigate this situation. That may not be the role of palliative care, but an obvious partner was needed. Situations change quickly, and many decisions are needed to be made. Palliative care may have been a good resource, but I have not yet received a call from them or reached out to them.
