I have been seen by Dr. R only 3 or 4 times. I made my most recent appointment myself in My Chart. It was so nice to be able to see openings with great times available. So easy. And i had the peace of mind knowing i was going to be seen! And not a crazy message given through the Nurse telling me to "just go to Urgent Care if i needed to be seen so badly" ! This last visit , in question , was for left side abdominal/ groin pain! He suggested what he thought was the problem but to be sure he suggested an Ultrasound. I was a bit discouraged with the date of the Ultrasound. A 2 week wait !

Dr. David Rodriguez is tied with my two other favorite doctors in my life. Excellent and top notch in other words!!! I have already suggested this clinic and Dr. Rodriguez to others and will continue to. If my husband's insurance Acendo accepted there he would have become a patient of Dr. Rodriguez too yet sadly is not. My husband really likes Dr. Rodriguez and his nurse Amanda too. Scheduling an appointment went smoothly. Sadie at the front desk is very personable and kind and helped me learn how to use the computer to sign in. Presley and Samantha are helpful and nice, as well. Dr. Rodriguez and his nurse, Amanda, are both excellent and amazing and kind and patient. I felt like all there genuinely and sincerely care about their patients so, consequently, me. Nice to be able to have an x-ray and lab work done there. X-ray went smoothly and lab tech, Shelley, is so excellent that she did not even leave a bruise or a mark on my arm which is rare. Everybody at this clinic seem above and beyond, kind, skilled and dedicated. The only thing I wish this clinic had that it doesn't is penicillin on hand. Plus, enough B-12 for patients who just want a B-12 shot at regularly scheduled office visits. I have only had one penicillin shot in my life at age 15 and it worked like a charm so I was so disappointed that I could not have a penicillin shot today, December 23, 2024, instead of having to go get an oral prescription of Amox/K-Clav filled. Albeit that may be the better option and the new protocol these day yet was unexpected. The unexpected is the most stressful so when told I'd have to have an oral prescription of something similar to penicillin that meant I had to go home since I did not have money on me to get. So I had to go home to get money then go get the prescription. I think likely why my BP went up higher than when I got there since did not expect that I could not receive a penicillin shot and inconvenient to have to go home to get money then go get an oral prescription of amox/K-Clav. Through no fault of the doctor or nurse and just simply penicillin injections not kept there and it is what it is. All previous doctors in my life have not minded if I had a B-12 shot at regular scheduled visits. I guess just not possible anymore yet unexpected and was disappointed about B-12 shots not being available if requested and penicillin injections not being available prn, as I'd hoped today. Nonetheless, everybody at SSMHealth is excellent and I have and will recommend and I greatly appreciate the honor of being Dr. Rodriguez's patient. My husband and I both highly respect Dr. Rodriguez's service in the Air Force, too. Great people at SSMHealth at 828 SW 4th. Also, Paula, Truc, Tien, Michele, April and Rex are excellent at the SSM Health out patient facility on Tulsa Dr. too. Have and will recommend both. Since 2000, I've had other primary care doctors. Dr. Rodriguez is the only one who did not treat me as just a number. I was very pleased with the doctor and his staff.

Dr. Rodriguez was very thoughtful and seemed interested in what I said and what my issues were. I was impressed with my first visit.

Everything was good, however the self check in takes too much time. Simple check in process would be nice.

The doctor took ample time to discuss my concerns.

I ended up arriving late and just wanted to know if I had the right address. I came in and they all worked together and saw me anyway. The doctor saw me after hours and was courteous, polite, and interested.
