I would tell them to book an appointment with Dr. Roden. I've only seen him for ear issues and hearing testing BUT I am totally certain if a patient needs a service he doesn't provide he will recommend someone else who will.

Dr.Rodan is by far one of the best health care providers we have in the MyMidMichigan health care system. Other physicians could learn from Dr. Rodan. He shows compassion for his patients, and is a nice doctor. My entire family has worked with Dr. Rodan, he's a really good doctor.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Very happy with experience but trying to get a person by phone took too long. I called the number from website and was put to answering service every time and was put on hold for a while until another voice came and said to leave name and number. The personnel in the office were friendly and quick once I was actually in the office.

Dr. Roden was nice. Kind and very professional. It was like I knew him for a long time. Very easy to talk to and be around. Even my son [Name] said to me after we left that he was very nice. I like him. Thank you so much for seeing [Name] and answering all my questions.

Dr. Rhoden and Staff are very professional! They care for you, will listen to your concerns and make sure your presence is valued. My medical concerns were fully addressed.

Dr. Roden was not helpful and very unprofessional. I went in referred from my PCP because I had fluid in my ear. Dr. Roden said my ear was fine, but since I was uncomfortable I could have a tube put in. After the tube was put in my ear was 100x worse and I felt I couldn't hear. At my PO appt Dr. Roden said everything was fine, but I could have the tube removed if it wasn't helping. He said it would be a "slight ouch," in the office. I was in a horrendous amount of pain and uncomfortable for the rest of the day. My ear did not improve. Throughout my appt he laughed when I told him how I was feeling and he cut me off when I was talking. I am so upset and left the office crying. I'm scared that I've ruined my ear because he quickly recommended something and didn't fully listen to my problem.

Medical care in this country would change drastically if all other providers and their staff were even half as friendly and efficient as those in this office. Such a wonderful, genuine experience.

I highly recommend Dr. Roden. He was thorough in his explanations and was kind in providing care to my son. In addition, he was extremely prompt in answering follow up questions using the messaging portal.

Dr. Roden is an excellent listener and clinician. Seemed genuinely interested in my concerns and did his best to figure out the problem causing severe ear pain. Very gentle, polite & respectful. Highly impressed with my first visit.

I went for a consult & second opinion & Dr ignored my request. Said that I should go to the first Dr that I saw. My primary Dr made the referral. Never sent her a report. He wasn’t interested in helping me with a diagnosed growth or polip on my cat scan

Dr. Roden takes time to listen to my concerns. He explains options in an easy to understand way. He is also very gentle and explained what he was going to do before he did it.
