What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
The staff needs more training on submitting insurance referrals/prior authorizations. It seems to always be a battle to get one put in and put in for the right specialist. Danielle is a good primary care provider and takes care of me as I need, the staff also responds to my calls and messages on the portal to get me what I need. There is always a long wait to schedule a new appointment and i know this is an issue throughout the community, not just this office. We need more providers in the area. Even if we got more providers, i would remain with Danielle for primary care.

I love seeing Danielle. She is so knowledgeable and knows my medical history. She goes over everything with me so I understand it. I have recommended her to family and friends.

We’re very happy with her and her staff. Would like to add that even tho it took awhile to finally get a PCP, all the care providers whom couldn’t stay with us because of the hospital’s transition were very good also! We recognize this speaks well of SSM’s medical community! We are grateful and have full confidence in you!

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
The provider is excellent in overseeing my medical care and concerns. She is always very thorough with her exams and goes over everything with you. The concern i do have is that I do not like to have to come out to the nurse station and get my follow up appointment and my future testing etc. There are always other providers nurses and patients standing around the station and everybody can hear each other's medical situations. To me we should wait in our room and wait for the nurse to come to use with all the paperwork and release us.

I have referred Danielle Russo to several others. Her caring and friendly personality is like sitting with a best friend. She is very knowledgeable and professional, but with an empathetic and down to earth demeanor. A very great asset to our hospital!

There is not a better office in Sault. By the hospital canceling [insurance plan] we have to change doctors and hospital. THIS hospital being sold has been the dumbest thing ever done in the Soo. I do believe the hospital will be sold because of the stupidity of our county commissioners.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The nurse was very kind and did and excellent job taking my vitals and listening to my issue. Nurse Practitioner Danielle Russo was amazing, thorough, listened very well. Best medical care I have received in a long time.
