Needed a pre-op clearance appointment. Was able to get in within 3 weeks at the Baptist South location with the APRN. Performed an EEG, thorough questions and visit. An FYI for those that need pre-op clearances: call and make your appointment right after you learn that you will need the clearance. Do not wait for several weeks, otherwise you may be cutting it too close to your surgical date. If things are discovered in your pre-op that need attention, you risk having your surgical date pushed back.

I have a copay to see a doctor and it seems that after the first visit, you than only see a pa. I pay the copay to expect to see a doctor not a pa.
