He is very intelligent and helps you with your problems, so I felt very comfortable and appreciated, and what issues I had were understood to me...so the overall experience was like ALOT of weight lifted off my shoulders, he's also kind, I would highly recommend him to family and friends. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr Mortens is a good listener and thoughtful with his treatment plans. He uses and references past visits for background information and previous treatment. He’s a detailed thinker which at times makes it appear he’s indecisive. His performance could be improved by smiling more . I feel confident with his care.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
A great medical provider that listens to me and understands my medical issues. Dr Mortens is not afraid to say he’s not sure, but will find out. He is kind and nonjudgmental. In addition, he follows up every 4-6 weeks until we are both satisfied that the plan of care is working for me.

He's personable and friendly as well as being knowledgeable. He has resources at hand to do referrals and suggest medications and treatments to deal with problems. He's open to experiments and treatments that don't always involve medications and they frequently work(!) or at least don't make a problem worse!

I have the utmost respect for Dr. Mortens. He is a kind and approachable physician. When he has not been available, the team at MyMichigan Family Medicine coordinated my care with other providers in the office. I know that is a VERY busy practice, but I have never felt rushed or noticed any inefficiencies in the clinic. Dr. Mortens is an asset to the community and the team that supports him do so with excellence.

From scheduling, to checking in, blood draws, seeing the nurse practitioner for assessment, and seeing Dr. Mortens, all were courteous and helpful.

Dr Morten’s is very attentive and offers good solutions to any issues I may have. His front desk staff is very helpful. Whomever answers the phones to ask if you need a nurse or an appointment is very rude and short.

From the front desk to the nurse and staff that I came in contact with and Dr.mortens I couldn’t have been attended to any better than I was. they recommend things with my good health in mind. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received.

Dr. Mortens has been great so far. I had only seen him once previously for an issue when my PCP was unavailable.. I decided to make him my PCP and saw him again for issue.. he's addressing immediately.

Dr Mortens and staff do very well. The My Michigan systems can be difficult. I do no like that I have had to call for appointments from specialists when their offices should be calling when a referral is sent to them . Bad juju. Especially when the patient may not have a clue who the referral is going to and causing stress and bothering the doctors office another time to track down info and I do not like every thing on a portal. Person to person is preferred.
