My appointment was needed to follow up on a bug bite I had gotten earlier in the week. I had visited an urgicare facility in Traverse City and was told if the area expanded beyond the highlighted area made by that provider, to see my doctor in Alpena. I was able to get in to see Dr. Mortens first thing last Friday and he followed up by prescribing another antibotic. I'm on the mend so believe he prescribed the correct medication. I'm pleased with the ability to get into the clinic so soon with the weekend coming up.

This was my first time seeing this provider. My regular provider was not available. However, Dr. Mortens seemed competent and business-like. I see no reason not to recommend him to others.

Dr. Morten’s really ostensibly to your concerns genuinely and responses honestly and compassionately. This was my first visit and I was very impressed with his concerns about done serious issues I am facing. He was quick to respond to urgent issues with my best interests at heart. His office staff was friendly and genuine in their ca and card concerns. I am happy I made this choice to continue my care with Dr. Morten’s after recently loosing a very amazing Nurse Practitioner Rachel Savage FNP.

This was my first appointment with Dr Mortens. He was reviewing my medical records as he interviewed me and had a great understanding of my current contribution and concerns. I am hoping to be able to choose him as my PCP.

I’m glad I switched my PCP to Dr. Mortens. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and attentive at every visit I have had with me. His staff are always helpful and friendly as well. I have recommended Dr. Mortens to other family and friends because I fell as though I receive great care through him and his team.

I will not see Dr. Mortens again for care. He didn't listen, didn't try to get to the bottom of the issue and spent almost zero time in the exam room although his exam notes say he looked at my eyes, nose, throat, listened to my heart and lungs- he did none of those things.
