Hard to get in right away. Long wait to see dr and when I had surgery on my right hand they had me come to hospital at 8 am and didn’t want take me back till 1:00-2:00 pm. Not sure who was to blame there

Unfortunately I have a lot of experience with healthcare, and this was on my bottom 2 of experiences. AFTER A FIVE MONTH WAIT... I was so upset when I left this office. He walked in the room, sat down and within seconds I had to defend my reason for the appointment. At times he was rude and sarcastic. He said things didn't make sense in a dismissive way. I wasted no time in booking a different hand surgeon that I'll be able to see in days, not months. The admins, staff and nurses were all nice

Dr. Young is the best hand surgeon! He is extremely busy and in demand so I have had to wait up to 18 mo to get a surgery scheduled. Once scheduled everything goes smoothly. But it takes constant work to get it scheduled.

Very friendly and professional staff. Dr Young was extremely knowledgeable, but not overly friendly. He was very much to the point, which was understandable with how busy his office was while I was there. My visit was overall positive.

Comment continued: Dr Young is a very good partner. He works with his clients to form a thorough, well thought through care plan that “fits”. I know he is an outstanding surgeon as I have had 2 procedures in the past and recovered well and completely from both. I tell everyone I know who is in need of care for their hands that they need look no farther than Dr Young.

Dr. Young gave a very thorough explanation of my condition and potential treatments. His staff was friendly and helpful. However, it took a year to get the appointment. Appointment delay time was significant for unknown reasons. However, Dr Young is not alone in delaying appointments for an extended period of time. That is happening with virtually every doctor in the system. The extended appointment problem needs to be addressed immediately.

He told us that it’s not his job to tell us what we should do he was only there to give us options which all 3 visits the options were different and never the same. We waited 2 hours in exam room before he ever came in to see us. [Removed defamatory statement] He was very unprofessional we will not be going back
