Very nice staff. The receptionist that answers the phones and greets patients could be more friendly. Other than that, this staff is very kind and caring.

Courtney Kernstock is fantastic. So much so I asked to be switched from my current provider to her. She is very easy to talk to and listens and answers questions. I never felt rushed at all during my appointment. Wonderful doctor!

My husband and I retired in [YEAR] and moved back to Michigan. We are very pleased with My Michigan Healthcare. Courtney Kernstock and her staff are great and they explain medical information in an easily and understandable way.. I have recommended Courtney to friends and family. Thank you.

We really like Courtney, she is approachable, friendly, really digs into the problem and comes back with great ideas, and explains things to you in a easy to understand manner. Manner. She is often not on time for our appointment but then again she always spends extra time with us. So I think this is just her way of doing things and I really appreciate the time she takes so that's why we're not criticizing her for doing this! ❤️

She was great at telling me how all the meds work and what they do.very nice .told me what all meds do.which makes it nice to understand how each meds works.first ever had someone explain how meds work . What they do .made me feel better taking the right meds for what was wrong.she was very nice easy to talk to under standing .how I was feeling.wish there were more like her.she seems to care alot about the person she is trying to help.she didn't rush took her time with me .which made me feel good knowing she cared.i wasn't just number or pay check I was human that need help.yes I would tell anyone to go to her.Because she cares.

Excellent practice. Everyone is so informative, friendly and professional. Love Courtney! One of the Jessica’shas the habit of being curt on the phone and seems disinterested. The Jessica with the cat pictures is great! I have recommended your office to many people. Very pleased with the care and follow up that you provide. Dr. Kerwin is the best! Patient, kind, knowledgeable. Very pleased with you all.

I am switching to her for my primary care permanently. She made me feel at home right away and cared for. I felt like I had known her for years, and that was the first time I had met her. She put a care plan in place for me, and I feel confident I can talk to her and get the help I need. She did not rush me and answered all my questions and concerns. I am so happy with her!

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
As I have always said when asked about my care at MyMich Freeland Clinic (Family Practice, Urgent Care and Physical Therapy), I have been provided exceptional care and service by ALL medical, clerical, administrative staff. The professionalism, knowledge, courtesy, respect, patience and genuine concern and empathy stand out as the highest level of care I ever experienced in my life. It is reflective of what appears to be an exemplary standard of care which, as I have also remarked, should be a model for healthcare for all health providers. I feel fortunate to have stumbled upon such medical care.

I was able to see the PA the next day but my doctor was not available till October. She was very good and took time to learn more about me, since this was our first meeting. I will use her again.

Very nice and understanding staff from front office to the lab. Courtney took the time to get to know me and my health history and explained everything so I could easily understand.

I saw Courtney after my regular PCP had to cancel a scheduled appointment. It was my first visit with her, and she was excellent! She listened well, asked pertinent questions, and was gentle, kind and thorough. I would go to her again.

She and her staff took excellent care of me when I was going through one of the hardest experiences in my life. They went above and beyond what I would have expected from a doctor and their staff. She and her staff are truly amazing and I feel so lucky to have her as my doctor.
